Oh dear. Only defeats came at hands of the OF. Have beaten Hibs 1-0 at Easter Road, Aberdeen at Love St, and went to TFS and got a point.

Also, Peterhead put me outr of the leauge cup on Penalties.

Does anyone else find FM07 stupily easy. With Stenny I've won 28 league games in a row. I got bored so started up a game as Brentford and after 36 league games have 81 points and am top of the league by 11 points.

what tactics are you using?

Is that website where you can download all the kits and facepacks and stuff, are they going to do the same for fm 2007?

1 game touchline ban!

I was drawing 1-1 with Cowden, then I scored and they called it offside, and then they scored, and the commentary said it was offside!

I said that i don't normally comment, but thought it was a bad decision - and the SFA handed me the ban, and the board aren't happy!

Apparently I make my team-talks on the touchline, because i'm not allowed to give them, or make tactical changes. My assistant took charge of a 1-0 win over Stranraer though.

I'm forever having a go at refs and yet to be banned from the touchline in FM 2007

Big Greacen was brilliant but is off now because he wouldn't take a wage cut, he's decided to join Bradford. Morton are terrible, financially.

PS before i started this game i done a seperate Juve game and got them back to Serie A easily.

I won my first league game 2-0 at Parkhead.

Just beat Dundee Utd 3-0 at Love Street to go onto 10 points after 6 games.

Have also signed Chris Sutton, Duncan Ferguson, Lee Wilkie (still injured) and Matt Jansen on free transfers.

Big Kirk wants to go, so I am frantically trying to flog him before the transfer window opens and he can negotiate with anyone he wants.

John Sutton is actually doing better for me than Chris. Big Drunken Duncan can't get a game either at the mo. Best signing out of the four has definitely been Matty Jansen. Playing just behind my front two, he's having a storming start to his career and is still only 28!

Christ, I remember him when he started out at Carlisle and was being tipped for big things. Such a shame for him, as he was on the fringes of the England setup a few years back when he had a bad motorcycle accident and hasn't fully recovered.

Started the season quite well, and although the results aren't really surprising, it's a very good start nonetheless in my first job. Beat Alloa 4-0 on the opening day of the season, then thrashed Cowdenbeath 5-0 away in the league cup!

0-3 defeat to Albion, 0-0 draw at Queens Park, 0-5 defeat to Arbroath and a 1-6 home defeat to Dumbarton. Im good at this game

I've just finished the first quarter of the season with Airdrie in 5th won 3 drawn 3 and lost 3. I'm pissed off though as my 2 main wingers are out injured Steven McDougall and Wayne Carlisle (I signed him as a free agent and he got injured straight away.)

Biggest win so far is a 5-0 gubbing of Alloa in the League Cup, but I lost 4-0 to Killie in the same competition.

Also I have a new chairman, Jim Ballantyne sold the club for 400k, to director Anne Marie Ballantyne, but no more transfer funds than usual.

1) The scouting system is much better. That's the main thing I've noticed so far. I haven't played enough to figure out if the tactics engine is at all improved.

2) I only signed two players - Devine from Stirling and Lee Wilkie from free agency. I'd rather improve my coaching staff as they're not very good. I'm also forever getting injuries.

After a tremendous start to the season I've had to restart, as I selected English as my nationality instead of Scottish. How silly of me.

Second last game of the season - me failing to win meant Morton won the league!

In my game the exact opposite happens. Raith are the thug b*****ds, and I dislike Levein because of it.

I started with Hearts and beat Killie away in my first league game, 3-0 and I got through to the 3rd round qualifying of the champs league and I have been drawen against AEK Athens. Time for some revenge!

In the first week of the SPL there was about 8 sending offs, 4 for Celtic (It will never happen in real life). I also keep getting loads of players booked. It seems every foul is a booking. Has anyone else had this?

I was just having a wee look back at this thread (looking for kit/badge packs for when I get 07)

I noticed a hell of a lot of foreigners.

My CM 03/04 Clyde team has 1 foreigner in it. Leandro da Silva Carvahlo, Brazilian international.

Every other player is Scottish, one of the first team regulars was a product of the youth system while a few more are benchwarmers for the time being.

THis team got the the quarters of the Champions league and won the SPL.

Before anyone else says it, I'm aware neither David Hutton or Ryan McCann is in Clyde's side. Not my fault.

I have one part-time player, my sub keeper - number 1 keeper takes his only injury of the season, a stubbed finger, 2 days before the play-offs!

Got this message after applying for the vacant Livi job with my team having just 18 points from 20 games(5-3-12 record I think) I declined and a 5-4-1 run has lifted us to midtable and has the board satisfied, so don't despair if faced with the same ultimatum!!

I went Wolves in the demo and kept playing. Signed Pattison from Newcastle and Vaughan from Everton both on loan and Guardiola of a free. Just beat Newcastle 5-2 in the league cup semi finals after getting beat 1-0 in the first leg.

We took the foot off the gas a bit at the end.

Top Tip:

If you're an SFL1 side and are hurting for cash, do the following:

1) Pick a totally unrealistic team for your pre-season friendly. AZ, Fenerbahce, Lyon, whoever.
2) Pick a home game
3) See how much $ you'd get for it, and offer to give the opposing team half. In Morton's case, it's 55k - so I get a chunk of the remaining 55k for each game I play (minus appearance bonuses and "matchday expenses" (look under finances) of course.)

No team except Rangers - my fucking parent club (whose contract I am NOT renewing since they've foisted Gilmour and N'Guessan onto me, and Novo refused to come) - has refused. If I opt to keep all the cash, they all refuse. 55k for a pre-season friendly as opposed to a small cash loss vs. Peterhead - not bad.
