St.Mirren have a good strike force and I think you shouldn't be looking for new strikers. But Bryan Prunty would be a good addition if you are looking for a striker, scored 20 goals in 20 games in my Airdrie game then Aberdeen payed me 400k to take him on loan and after the season finished I flogged him for £1 mill

Need help for Football Manager. When i load my game footy manager minimizes and it says "save game could not load" anyone know how I could fix this problem.

I continued My stirling game and it all went pearshaped. Was 5th after 18 or so games so resigned(i couldnt take them any further) and got the job at bottom of the 1st division Queens they were 7 points behind when i took over and i got them relegated (just) I did get a new deal though and have a good squad

I'm on some decent form with Moor Green, pushing for the play-offs at around the half way point in my League 2 season.

In the 2nd Round of the FA Cup, and i'm hoping to make it through and get a money spinner in the Third.

I'm losing serious cash, about 70k a month, sometimes more.

This probably happened because you never exited the game and turned it off instead. You have to exit your game then turn it off. If you dont it cant process, save all the data

You won't be able to load that game again.

If you have autosave on, look for the save game *Gamename*_V2 or V3, and that'll take you back to the last autosave.

I am right up the league now, and i'm unbeaten in about 9 games. Sitting 4th, 4 points behind the leaders.

That's not the only reason for games being corrupted.

However, once a save game has been corrupted, there's no way to restore it.

Just started a game as Plaza Colonia in Uruguay

Loaded all of South America as well as Mexico so we'll see how it goes.

Started the season excellently winning 4-1 and 3-0 but last two games have seen 4-0 defeats, one away to Penerol.

It is quite fun however as you really dont know anything about the teams or the players, even the league seems to be a bit weird with an opening and a closing stage

Finances will be a severe problem I feel however with our average attendence less than Clydes with only Penerol and Nacional getting decent crowds.

Hmm. I started a new game as Chelsea this evening, just to see what it's like having money at the start. I've built a hell of a team:

Goalkeepers: Cech and Gordon

Defenders: Ferreira, Johnson, Maicon, Bridge, Gallas, Carvalho, Huth, Terry, Del Horno

Midfielders: Essien, Borowski, Cole, Robben, Sneijder, Wright-Phillips, Duff, Messi, Lampard

Strikers: Gudjohnsen, Bojinov, Podolski, Drogba

Podolski and Bojinov both scored hat-tricks on their league debuts (different games), and I've just had my entire back four in the team of the week!

Pity I couldn't get Ronaldinho, Gerrard and Rooney though

I just won my 5th trophy in almost 5 seasons with Moor Green! Beat Bradford City in Extra Time in the LDV Vans Trophy. I dominated the game and hit the post in the last minute, so probably deserved the win!

I might win the league, but it'll be tough just now. I should definitely make the play-offs though. I've recently secured the signatures of John Hartson, Dado Prso and Shunsuke Nakamura, who arrive in a couple of months.

Once again, I did things the hard way. Won the league on the last day, from 3rd place. With a game to go, I had 76 points, MK Dongs had 77 and Colchester had 78. We were all playing pretty shite teams. Also, myself and Colchester had the same GD.

Despite going behind early on, I managed a comfortable win against Dag & Red, then I gave my team talk and returned to the match page, with no idea what the other 2 scores were.

MK Dons 0 - 0 York --- meaning I was guarenteed second place...

Notts County 2 - 1 Colchester --- 86th minute winner means I win the league, by a point!

Started a new game with St.Mirren, Broadfoot demanded a move away so I sold him for 750k, the wage bill is high as f**k . I am delerious though as I got Finnbogason (sp) and Graham Weir on loan for a season .

Only played 2 games so far, a 3-1 defeat away to Ross County in the league and a 3-0 victory against them in the cup

After an apprenticeship with FM 2006 on the 360 going clubs like Man Utd, Arsenal, Juve, Real Madrid etc etc me and my hun mate decided to go for broke, we went our clubs. At the start my aim was to take killie to the top half and his was to win the league.

Rangers have won the league with 1 game till the split after his signings of bojinov, vitti and a cpl of others. The bold Killie meanwhile are 2nd, after signing Djorkeaff, Kalenga, John Sutton, with 2 cup semi final defeats as well-one to M'Well and another to Gretna , 6 points clear of the tims who had a shocking start following signings like Scot McDonald, Scott Brown etc etc. Unfortunaltly for me though Celtic were 6th and 12 behind me over a month ago and the media were predicting a Strachan sacking. Me and my mate decided to add to the pressure by saying we didnt like him and now his players are fired up and on a hefty winning run.

Rangers also made the last 16 of CL after coming through a group with Lyon Man Utd and Udinese, the went out to Juventus-no bad though.

Will finish season tonight hope to take Killie to CL will update tomorrow.

The default location for saved games is in the "Documents & settings" folder. I cant remember the exact path and Im on my work laptop at the mo, so I cant check!

Anyway, once you've found the files simply burn onto a cd, then save into the same folder on your laptop

Does anyone know how to add pictures to fm, to act as background? I took some photo's whilst at the World Cup and would like them on my game. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Got my laptop today and took me about an hour to transfer all the logos, game data etc. Game is now well quick

Anyway continued my game with Queens and come July it was announced i was going FT. Therefore loads off good players wanted to join me. Signed lots of them and am 7 points clear after 7 games even though i have lost 1 game I also made the CIS cup 2nd round before Livi knocked me out and got knocked out in the challenge cup 2nd round by Motherwell. Should go up this season.

BTW Chris Templeman is class

CM 03/04 was the daddy for this, you could put loads of pictures of hot chicks in the one folder and the game would cycle through them randomly.

Nowadays you've got to assign a different picture to each screen which means you've got to tinker with its configuration files.

Try looking on the graphics part of the forums section on The Dugout for info on how to do this. Be warned though, it's very tricky. Why they couldn't have kept it the same as 03/04 I don't know :'(

I've been sacked in April by Ayr United.
I managed to find a gem of a winger in Danny Ongumado and made good signings like Craig Nelson but it was a case of too little too late. They replaced me with Derek Whyte and were relegated.
I'm now at Queen Of The South and managed to avoid relegation with them with a 3-2 win over St Mirren.

Am now close to securing the 2nd division title. 22 points clear with 8 games to go. Made CIS Cup 2nd round, Challenge Cup 2nd round, Scottish Cup 4th round before being knocked out by Rangers.
