I started a new game went St. Mirren as always, won the league on goal difference and went to the semi finals of the Challenge Cup and The League Cup, got put out on a replay against Hibs in the Scottish Cup 3rd round.

The team is the team I have started the SPL with. Drew my first game with Aberdeen away from home 1-1 not bad seeing as I only had 9 men!

I've called up my Man City game again, and I'm currently in the midst of a nightmare run of games:

Arsenal and Chelsea beat me in the league, then I drew 0-0 with Chelsea in the Champs League 1st leg, before beating Manure 4-3 after extra time, after they'd pulled me back from 2-0 up in the last ten minutes. Mental!

I just got a new 4 year deal at Moor Green for £90 a week. I think the board are delighted I chose to stay on and the Stockport County chairman has already expressed his sadness at me not joining them .

Finished 3rd in the table yet again, a good 12 points back from the OF this time.

The good news is that the OF's and St. Mirren's European performances has secured Scotland a 3rd Champions League spot, and I will be attempting to qualify for it next season.

I had a few players earmarked to improve my squad for this assault, but the board announced they are expanding my stadium capacity from 16800 to about 24000. This knocked my finances from £10.5m, to under £3m. As a result I have signed, 3 free transfers.

Heading out is 22 year old Loic Pujol, recently signed a new 5 year deal. A £250k signing from Partick Thistle at 19 years old, he is going to Bochum for £2.8m plus 50% sell on clause.

(As a side note, I could be earning decent cash from sell on clauses, this is who I am currently waiting on returns from. Gaetan Guzman (Nexaca)- 20%, Hosni (Aberdeen) - 30%, Scott Brown (Celtic) - 40%, Jay Bothroyd (Rangers) - 40% and Nauzet (Lorca) - 20%.)


One of my two young Chilean Protegés, Alexis Sanchez, (who is the lesser player of the two IMO) is attracting interest from Bari, so I stuck the price up at £6.25m. 4 weeks later and they are still sniffing about him, so I may be anticipating a bid.

Currently playing a network game with one of my mates, and I may have pulled off my best FM achievement, taking Stranraer to the SPL in the first season

Michael Moore was my main goalscorer, with Scott McLean knocking in his fair share. Allan Jenkins agreed to stay with me (could be signing a 5 year deal soon) and has been superb, and guys like Keddie and Dowie at the back were rock solid.

Also had fun removing the "boring boring Stranraer" tag, by scoring 100 goals in the season

I was just hoping for the gate money, and Ryan Thompson scored in the 3rd minute, then again in the 38th! Scott Sampson scored in the 68th minute, and my jaw dropped. Then I got a penalty with 10 minutes left.

What makes it really shocking, is that in my match right before this one, I ended a run of 12 games without a win!

Just ended my worst run of the season (3 defeats in a row) with a 1-0 victory over Workington. The title is still in my sights though, I am only 2 points behind Stafford Rangers.

My international career started with a bit of time-travel. I managed Moor Green against Rushden & Diamonds, and then managed Nepal v Singapore at the same time, taking control after my Moor Green match finished!

Lost both games, 3-0 to Rushden and 2-1 to Nepal, because i gave away a penalty 5 minutes before Full Time.

Singapore are shite!

Been so inconsistent and a run of something like 11 games with no win saw me slump into a relegation battle. I'm bottom on GD but 1 win will take me up to 8th and 2 points behind 7th depending on results, only 6 games left

I finally get FM, play as Ayr and get knocked out the challenge cup by St Mirren 3-0 after saying that they had no chance of defeating Ayr United.

How did you get that job in the first place, do you check the jobs on the international scene on a regular basis?

I signed Bobby Linn and Danny Ogunmade on free transfers but I had to sell Ludo for 100k to Le Havre to get transfer funds. I then signed Jerome Vareille (scored on his debut in a 1-2 loss at Stirling), Michael Brown from Forfar to replace Ludo and then brought Craig Nelson from Brechin (but his transfer doesn't go through until January, hence the signing of Brown instead of playing Hillcoat).

I just click the wee jobs thing sometimes, to see.

Anyway on Sunday i started a game with East Fife. Took them to 2nd in Febuary after being top all season then i got the Stirling job. My target was to keep Stirling up as i was only 3 points above and about 12 off the play offs. Started ok with 3 draws and 2 defeats then won 4 and drew 1 to pull away and make myself safe. Then went on a crazy unbeaten run which meant i was 1 point off the play offs on the final day of the season(some achivement) i had to beat ayr (at home) and hoped raith lost or drew away at champions Gretna. I lost 2-1 after a very nervy encounter and Raith won 2-1 was gutted. Bought some good players during summer and am 2nd after 27 games 2 points behind leaders Morton doing very well considering my ok squad and considering im 200k in debt(my own doing) and tipped for relegation i think thats good I have excellent manager stats yet am rated obscure

I'm entering the final quarter of the season at Moor Green and I'm aiming for promotion. The league is slipping further out of my site as I have hit a bad patch so hopeuflly I will go up via the play-offs.

Singapore was shite. Not enough chewing gum for me Resigned after 24 days. I was looking at having to wait 2 years for a competitive game, because I joined right after they'd been put out of World Cup Qualifying by Kyrgystan.

Finished 2nd after being 5 points clear at top with 5 games to go and totally bottling it Won via playoffs though and am now in division 1

after 4 games in 1st division i am 2nd with 10 points

Following my short stint in International Mangement, I was offered a job by Queen Of The South, but I turned it down because I feel I can still take this team forward!

Hurry up and hit a bad form so I can get back to the top . I was top all season then just slumped for 5 games or so inevitably losing my place at top of the league, maybe selling Ryan Thomson was a mistake.

I'm 9 games unbeaten in the League 2!

Ryan Thompson is still performing for me, along with Steve McGlinchey and Hameur Bouzza.

Bouazza is a new signing - he scored in his first game, then again in his second, then managed 2 assists in his third! I'm hoping he keeps up this form!

I signed Colin Larkin as a replacement to Ryan Thomson, he's shite though

I also bought Singapore's best player! He's not had much of a chance - he's a striker, and i've already got McGlinchey, Thompson and Bouzza all fighting for the 2 starting places.

Awk just give the wee boy a chance . I wasn't wanting to pla Rob Elmes or Neil Davis when Ryan Thomson was under 80% but I played them and they were shit hot

I think I gave them both free transfers at the end of last season. I've got 35 players with squad numbers, and about 10 more in the Reserves who aren't numbered. Need to sell a few and release a few more, because i'm getting too many unhappy folk.

You must have a crap squad rotation system . Just kidding, I've got that with 2 or 3 in teh squad but nothing major.

My squad always seems to be hit by injuries so I sign a few back-up players for when the injuries get bad.

I'm sitting 8th in Division Two with Ayr United in September.

That happened to me twice after selling a 1st team player, the whole team suddenly becomes sh'te

After securing my 1st division status on the 2nd last day of the season I was in the playoff position, 2 points behind St Johnstone and playing them, I won 3-1 to confirm that I'd be playing 1st div football.
This season has started rocky with 6 games played, 2 won, 1 drawn and 3 lost, currently sitting in 6th place after a 4-0 hammering of Partick

I finished the season on an absolute stinker, winning only about 2 of my last 9 games. I just finished my play-off game against Alfreton, I was 2-0 down 14 minutes in so made my team go all out attack. I drew 3-3, so that is 3 away goals I have for the second leg. Hopfully I can gain promotion to the Conference

Thanks to the inconsistent form of goalkeeper Michael Brown and the injuries plagueing my team, my Ayr side are sitting bottom of Division Two.
Can't wait until the January transfer window.

I am now in the play-off final after a nervy 2-1 win in the 2nd leg. Both teams were reduced to 10 men and I took the lead in extra-time through a Rob Elmes penalty. Come on Moor Green!

I lost out on succesive promotions, in the play-offs.

1-1 draw with Leyton Orient at home, then played them away, and lost 4-3, with me being down to 10 men early on, and coming back from 3-1 down to 3-3, and then they scored the winner in injury time

I probably didn't deserve promotion anyway, I made the last play-off place on the last day, and even then it was only on goal difference.

After 6 seasons (roughly) Montrose sacked me

I had a tough season in the 1st and was expected to battle bravely against relegation. I finished 9th and got to the playoff final v QoS, 2-2 at full time and then again AET so the match went to pens. With them missing their 2nd penalty I was in a good position, however I then went on to miss my 4th and 5th pens with them scoring theirs.

Next day I check my news and there was a press thing asking me about my thoughts on next season, asking if I can get them back up. I was confused to see I had "refused to comment." Thought nothing of it and carried on to read my news, only to find the heading "Montrose sack Ashelby." Some bull about my relationship with my staff was the reason for poor performances

This was a total shock to me because my Board Confidence was something like "Thrilled about my commitment to the club." Oh well, life goes on and I hope Montrose get relegated from the 2nd as they're expected to

The job hunt begins

I decided to try something a bit different, so have taken the reins at French Ligue 1 side Le Mans. They're newly promoted and I'm expected to fight bravely against relegation.

Beating Marseille 2-1 in my first game would have been a good start then!

Just won the league with morton ( 2nd division)
