After spending 2 seasons in the 2nd Div and coming 4th twice I've finally decided to tell my team to get the finger out and made a promising start to the season. 1st in the league after 10 games, got to the 2nd round of the League Cup and Challenge Cup.

John Lamb is my understudy to Jorg Stiel, he has played 11 games with an average rating of 7.88

When i play Football manager 06 my pc freezes and i dont know how to resolve this problem. if anyone has an idea please post.

Against the odds, i've staggered my way to the final of the FA Trophy in my second season at Moor Green. Unfortunately, its against the team top of the Conference, whereas i'm down at about 18th.

For some reason, the semi-final is two legs, and I drew 1-1 in both legs with Shrewsbury, then went to penalties, where we took NINE each, before I finally won 5-4.

I should survive in the Conference, because recently i've won 4-0 and 6-2, and i'm on a 10 game unbeaten run! Another highlight of this season has been dumping Bradford out of the FA Cup, but then I went out in the third round to QPR.

Second last day of the season, and I conceded twice in the second half to Gravesend to lose 2-1, but Crawley drew 0-0 with Shrewsbury to secure my safety!

Hopefully I can do much better next season!

Shock result in the Cup Final - I actually won it! Beat Accrington Stanley 4-3, where they missed a penalty and I scored one - 4000 folk in Wembley for it!

Currently approaching the end of my 5th season as St. Mirren manager, and the only surviving member of my original squad is Chris Smith, who recently earned a full Scotland cap in a friendly match.

I was chasing down the Old Firm rather admirably, winning 9 league games in a row, but a few draws in my last couple of game have seen me slip out of the title picture as both halves of the OF are relentless. I am still more or less guaranteed 3rd position and a 3rd succesive UEFA cup adventure.

A couple of big name free transfers in there to shake things up, van Bronkhorst is a good age now and can't quite do it, but I was extremely please to capture Mista for zilch!

I payed about £450k for fortunato. £250k for Pujol from Partick, and he has been magificent. £500k for Lee Miller and a massive £1.2m for Samuelsson who has hardly set the heather alight.

For those enquiring as to how I made my money. I signed Gaetan Tomas Guzman on a free and sold him a year later to Nexaca for £4m. Sold free transfer Julio Cesar Leon to Newcastle for £2.7m. Scott Brown to Cetic for £3.7m up front plus 40% sell on, and 2 good UEFA cup runs, and 2 3rd place finishes each giving me a sweet £850k.



Usually, I wait until Scotland are dying on their arses and they sack the chump in charge, before I apply for the job. However, Ian McCall got the job in 2007....and the rest looks like it may become history!

Sitting 2 points clear after 2 games but out off both cups

Most of my players are stalling on new deals because they want to go back to parttime but I'm just going to revamp the squad instead of keeping them on.

My whole playing squad is are on FT contracts, but I think the club is still classed as Part-Time. Will the board change that at some point?

1st season as United manager, made it to the 1st round proper of the UEFA Cup but lost 7-5 on aggregate to Palermo

Semis of the league cup before losing 2-1 to the Timothys, knocked out on penalties by the Sheep in 3rd round replay...in the SPL, spent most of the time in 6th, but due to only taking a point from the last 3 games before the split, ended up 7th...

The club offered me a new 2 year contract though, and highlights include a 1-0 win at Castle Greyskull over the Huns, 2 away wins at Tynecastle, a 5-0 raping of the Sheep at Pittodrie and a 6-1 win over Livi at Tannadice...

I'm doing brilliantly now, in my 3rd season - in contrast to last season, i'm up in 3rd in the Conference, 3 points behind Exeter in 1st, but they do have a game in hand.

I've won my last 6 games, and i've also applied for the job of Finland manager!

I'm still mulling over the offer.

I would stay where you are. Stockport are obviously shite, and it'll be all new players to have to work with.

I'm on a fantastic run, i've won my last 16 games, and i've only 4 conceded times in this run!

Exeter were 6 points ahead of me at the top of the league for a lot of that run, and they must've won about 10 games in a row, but they've finally started slipping, and they just got beat 4-2, by Carlisle, and 3-2 by Stafford Rangers, who are the worst team in the league, by a mile!

Horray! I'm 2nd and 2 points behind Stafford Rangers.

2nd in the 1st Division with Montrose, I intend to still be there at the end of the season. I don't want promoted because I wouldn't be able to cope in the SPL.

Currently 4th in the 2nd Div with Elgin. Wiped out my debt thanks to 2 players not wanting to sign new contracts. Made 75K from them!!!!!! Roll on next season when I should be challenging for that title and maybe win a cup game!

A lot of my squad are retiring, including my top scorer and my number 1 goalkeeper

My board just announced that the club is turning professional, ahead of the first season in League 2!

I started a new game went St. Mirren as always, won the league on goal difference and went to the semi finals of the Challenge Cup and The League Cup, got put out on a replay against Hibs in the Scottish Cup 3rd round.

The team is the team I have started the SPL with. Drew my first game with Aberdeen away from home 1-1 not bad seeing as I only had 9 men!
