Firmware 2.4 is out and it has in game messaging
Eventually Sony have realised that this is one of the main reasons the XBox is better and it will be available in the next couple of days. Also it has a new trophy system for games such as PixelJunk and Super Stardust

Hopefully, Nintendo will also realise theyre missing a trick on that one. Although, I doubt very much they'll shift from their 'online safety' stance
One thing seriously letting the Wii down is the online play system

New trophy system ie blatant rip off of the X360's achievement system, only calling them entitlements.
Soon the PS3 and Xbox will be exactly the same. They're both copying everything the other one does successfully.

Excitement over things the Xbox has had since the very beginning? LOL.
I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy, it's just quite funny.

The update is really good. I'm so glad they have brought in the in-game XMB bar as it was really starting to annoy me having to stop and start games to talk to your friends.
I hope games coming out later this year allow you to listen to music, though, as none of my games seem to do this yet.

supposedly itll be a few months until the games have ingame music , im sure the actual game makers have to send an update to the game allowing the game to do it or something

The guy must have been switching between a game on a disk and a game which he has downloaded from the PS Store. You cannot switch between two different games which are only available on disks without removing one of them

Yes, but it only if you have bought it from the PS Store.

Any chance we could get an emulator to play our old PS and PS2 games? It's a fucking joke that you can't do this on the PS3 unless you bought one of the first versions.

I never had a problem with it
