Yes sir, it is indeed happening, pitch is booked for 1pm at Forthbank. Asked Kulli to check with Lugz but if you can also pester him that would be grand

If you can post your availability here that would be smashing.

Doubtful, fucked my leg at 5's on Wednesday although it's a weird one because it didn't really hurt badly until the morning after, I can barely walk.

Since we only have 12(or maybe 13?) I have invited along a perspective new player to warm the bench.
If it's not ok let me know and I'll tell him to do one, however, he does have 4k posts so is a proper PnBer, unlike some Gav's i know.

I've said to Kulli to bring this fellow along, we're looking a bit light at times recently so an extra body will be welcome.
Ref is sorted, so we're good to go. If we can all try and be there for the back of 12 and get out and get a decent warmup that would be great.

Kulli has also stated that he can provide Neilly with shinnys.
Colin, the train I proposed gets into Stirling at about 11.55, so if Kulli fancies meeting us at the station we should arrive at Forthbank around 12.10 or so I reckon.
Who else is getting the train btw? Looks like it's just me and Gav?
I've just been hit with a 3-8pm shift tomorrow, a couple of fannies have called sick and I really need the double time pay before my holidays.
Sorry for the short notice, and best of luck.

Interrrrresting. Think I'm stayin in Johnstone t'nite.. and noo that Greg has shamelessly pulled out I guess u have a space..
Two problems but:
1) I'm sure you wouldnt be too keen to swing passed the gorbals for my gear, especially with time constraints.
2) 258 would be left a Nigel on the train.. and being the proper PnBer (Kulli!

) that I am, I wouldn't do that to the poor lad. (I deserve special credit there considerin it's Booth.)
Looks like an early start and the train then...

Nowhere near enough said i'm afraid, None of us can take anything from the first 35 minutes, a shambles throughout , Dubs was isolated midfield pulled all over the shop and defence outpaced and overan, boro knocked the ball about all to easilly and found space everywhere. No closing down no tackling no heart, very disappointing given everybody's progress over the last year or so. I think we all need to impove our fitness on an individual basis, it's impossible to train regularly together but you can keep yourself sharp.
ok thats the criticism out the way and i thought we pulled ourselves together in the second half, much more desire to win the ball and knock it around and unlucky not to hit back a goal at 4-2 may have seen a different last 20 minutes however with the effort of trying to get back in it boro had chances on the break and lugz kept us in ti till the late killer goal, boro fully merited the victory but the goals were sloppy ones to lose and all came from our own errors.
we should use our remaining games to work on our organisation to take in to next year, I've made my feelings pretty clear on the 4-5-1 however i am luckily not the guys in charge of that side of things but i will use the difference in the two halfs as a prime example of what can happen when you set out negatively.
Colin M
Jul 7 2008, 11:58
Agree with all of that Neily.
The 4-5-1 has worked for us in a few games and we've felt it's been a good option as Moffat, Gogo, Scott and Jonny, plus Andy, have all been good at getting forward to play off of Dubs. It's not worked at all the last two games and a switch to 4-4-2 in both has made a big difference.
The other reason for playing 4-5-1 has been that we've struggled a bit for consistency in midfield and it's meant to avoid us being overrun. That doesn't really work at all, dunno if that's just because of the people playing in that role but not being very organized doesn't help.
We've got a good run of games over the next couple of months (after this week we could be playing more or less every week) so we just need to knuckle down and get on with it, but we should be using the time to try and sort ourselves out in terms of organization and plan where we're going.
