Never mind only 2 weeks to go til the friendlies start (well ours anyway) so we can stop pointless crap like this.

In the meatime I'll get us started. To qualify they have to have been in trouble with the police.

I'll get us started with a forward pairing of Paul McManus and David Goodwillie. Both in trouble for fighting in or outside nightclubs and both got off very lightly. McManus deserves a special mention for being arrested coming off the pitch in Perth for breaching bail.

Have to include Ryan Stevenson of Ayr who, I believe, has been done for altering his tax disc with a pen. Twice!

The tax disc thing was once...he was done for speeding the other times.

David Dunn was arrested for fraud.

He claimed he was a footballer.

Big "Mad mental" Duncan Ferguson was put into Bar-L for headering a player whilst playing.

Did he get done for battering a would be burglar?

Someone will no doubt post a "witty" remark about the East Fife starting 11.

He was charged with kicking some guy in the head outside the Ice Factory. Part of his bail was not being allowed in Perth.

We played Saints in the Challenge Cup at McDairmid. McManus put us 1-0 up but we lost 5-1. The Police arrested McManus as he was coming off the pitch for breaching his bail. I'm pretty sure they didn't even let him change.

Must've been quite unusual seeing a pair of muddy football boots outside the cell door.
Baba O'Reilly
Dexi Wingate for Stranraer, found guilty of secertarianism the last time Rangers won the league. He lost his place as club captain. Go on Dexi give us a song.

I'm sure it was Duncan Ferguson. I seem to remember reading a story of him sleeping on his sofa when the burglar comes in, and he batters the f'k out of him laugh.gif

Burglaries

In 2001, Ferguson was the victim of a burglary attempt by two men at his then home in Rufford, Lancashire. Ferguson confronted the pair and was able to detain one of them who subsequently spent three days in hospital.[11] The second man managed to flee but was eventually caught. Both men were sentenced to fifteen months imprisonment for their actions. Later because of their actions, both men won an "Honorable Mention" from the Darwin Awards.[12]
