Sorry for posting this in here as it has nothing to do with Scottish football.
With Brazilian guys popping up left, right and centre playing for other countries (eg Aurelio for Turkey, Eduardo for Croatia), it got me thinking if any guys like this have played against their siblings at international level.
The closest I can recall was when Soloman Kalou was trying to get naturalized as a Dutch citizen before the World Cup 2006 where he could have come up against his brother (Bonaventure) and the Ivory Coast in the group stages but it obviously didn't come to fruition.
Anybody?

I might be wrong but do the De Guzman brothers play for different nations (Canada and Holland). Could be one to happen if canada ever play the Netherlands.

Jonathon has only played twice for the Netherlands U-21 team so it is doubtful
Good shout though

In ye olden days when international qualification was much stricter than it is now and you simply had to represent the country of your birth, regardless of parentage, etc there was the well known case of Joe and Gerry Baker. The brothers were both raised as Scots but by accident of where they were actually born Joe played international football for England and Gerry played for the USA. They never actually played against one another though, Gerry making his USA debut in 1968 whilst Joe played his last game for England in 1966.

Steve Mandanda (France) and Pafait Mandanda (Congo) faced each other in the spring time. Both are goalkeepers and played one half each - unfortunately not the same half.
It was only a 'B' game for France so it wouldn't have counted officially in any case.

Have you ever heard Christian Vieri speak? He sounds like Paul Hogan.

Surely if scotland played northern ireland in the past, there would have been a few "brothers" on either team
