Both players deserved the applause. Excellent Camelon performance against a lethargic Bonnyrigg side. I was more impressed with the Mariners tonight than I was on Saturday. Can't remember the Camelon goalie having even a simple save. They looked far fitter and more interested that BR.
Only highlight for Bonnyrigg was probably Robertson's performance. There is however only so much 1 player can do. The lad didn't deserve to be on the losing side and I think he will make a pretty good addition to the Linlithgow squad.

Camelon were outstanding tonight, outclassed Bonyrigg all over the park.

I disagree. Camelon turned up, Bonnyrigg didn't. I thought Camelon were much less fluent than Saturday but Bonnyrigg were very poor. There was only ever likely to be one winner from a very early stage. Congrats to Camelon though. Again, they could only beat what was in front of them and they did so easily. An excellent season for them and the cups are well deserved following a great league campaign.

5-0 against the Haws...ah but Hob didn't turn up and were poor. 4-0 against Bonnyrigg...ah but the Rose didn't turn up and were poor.

Fair enough some people prefer the "glass half empty" approach but for me Camelon made these teams look bad. Funny how these sides got to big finals and then somehow didn't turn up. Truth is they were both pumped and more credit needs to be given to the winners for that.

The truth is that I've seen Bonnyrigg and Hill of Beath play much better than they did in these 2 games. I don't think you or anyone else is in a position to say that their performance is all down to the way Camelon played. They would have been regarded as awful irrespective of the opposition.

I'm sorry if you think I've failed to sufficiently rim Camelon for their performances but the standard at which the opposition performed is worthy of comment. To repeat for the hard of seeing:

How much more credit do you want?

I would say the best thing about the juniors, more so the super league is all teams are capable of beating each other. Who turns up on the day plays a big part, but credit to Camelon for the season they have had, not just for these 2 cups but for being consistant throughout. cool.gif
