When is the draw for the first round.

No date as yet - the format of the tournament depends on whether Hibs qualify for the UEFA Cup or not. This won't be known until the weekend before the League Cup First Round - however, if Hibs get a conclusive result v Elfsborg/Torshavn on Sunday 6th July; or an iffy result in the first leg, but win the tie come Sunday 13th July; you can expect the draw to be hurried through ASAP.

Last seasons draw was on July 17th and that was without a Scottish team in the Inter toto.

I expect the draw to be made on Tuesday 15th, after Hibs play Elfsborg.

According to post on Cups sub-forum, its Tuesday 22nd (midweek between Intertoto final games).
