Livi fans were the only lot I saw engaging in a 45 minute, half-naked conga last season. They get a lot of stick on this board, but, away from home anyway, they do appear to get behind their team.

Lasses from Perth are the most passionate but Cumbernauld girls are dirty as f**k
Piehutt
tbh - A lot of the passion has gone right out of football at the moment.

Nice to see Morton getting a mention, but imo games at Cappielow recently have really lacked an atompshere. Perhaps due to the away fans being miles away.

Still - I was pretty passionate during the last game of the season at Firhill.
Fife Saint
Is this in the stands or in bed?

The Livi yoof are fucking hilarious, whether or not you could label that as passion or yooffull exhuberance is another thing altogether.

The guy in front of you still hasn't managed to get it all out of his hair. Poor old Arthur. sad.gif

I think All seater stadiums have kinda killed the passion at games sad.gif . Away fans always tend to be more vocal than the home fans at most of the grounds/teams in the first.

Due to my lack of having anything to do, I have been looking all across this board over the last few days. This must be about the 7th or 8th mention of St Johnstone by a Dundee fan. Just saying

Fixed.
Kyle
they don't care about us though.

Queens fans are the best away fans IMO

I would have said so too after that midweek game at McD when they turned up in decent numbers (comparitively speaking) despite the wather being treacherous. Those rattler things get on my tits though. Drop them please.

yous will have st mirren next season, they usually have a decent support.

Certainly not us anyway. Most are sweetie rustling, rugby fans. Thistle fans are arseholes.

Morton fans are certainly the biggest moaners in the league when it came to "encouraging" their team on. I'm not sure whether that counts as most passionate but they make some noise either way.

For me, Queen of the South are pretty passionate in terms of highest crowd noise and for the longest duration in games. It was a cold night on top that when they were at their best.

Our fans are pretty crap at home but away from home I'd say we're up there with some of the best in the league. I think the fact that we are so shit at home is because we are all split up across 3 stands. If we were together it probably would be better.

if you catch the cowshed on a good day then you'll struggle to find louder, more passionate fans in the league, if you catch us on a bad day then you'll struggle to find a team with more abusive fans towards their own team.

catch us on a routine win against the likes of Alloa , Forfar or Clyde and you wont hear a peep from us for 90 mins.

The thing I was quite surprised at was how badly you were slagging your keeper at Almondvale. With the exception of around 1 or 2 goals, it wasn't really his fault you got pumped so badly. I think you should have directed your anger at Harding and Greacan for being so piss poor against anything attacking our side produced.

it was Harding, Greacen and Robinson who got most of the abuse last season, and deservedly so. They would have looked out of their depth in junior football until Irons came in, gave them confidence and made them actually look competent. There was a stage under Mcinally that Greacen had so little confidence he was too scared to even take a touch of the ball and look up. He'd either just hit it out for a throw or launch it up the park without even looking, he was so scared of making a mistake that he didnt want the ball anywhere near him.

I digress, as I'm sure every other fan, bar your fellow Morton fans, would. I'm sure every support thinks it's the loudest and most passionate 'on a good day'. It's what your like on a bad day that cements how passionate you can consider yourselves to be.
Dorado
Partick fans at Almondvale in the Scottish Cup Match seemed pretty passionate that day

I'll admit our homes game are really really shite but it seems to me to be the same everywhere in the league its only really the away fans that show some passion and make some noise unless its a derby game.

I find St Johnstone fans to be relatively quiet on their travels, too. They're just not very exciting.

But your support is higher than ours so it levels out slightly more. If our stadium was 4,000 seats less or something like that, we'd get a much better crowd noise due to the fans/empty seats ratio being better.
