With the fixtures out tomorrow, how many times will Dundee and United be drawn at home on the same weekend?

I say 3.
ian_dfc

Juan Sara
Hmm I say 2.

6 times!

I take it this is only a problem since Dundee were relegated?

I remember in 91 when Dundee joined Saints & United in the Premier the police wouldnt allow us & Utd to be at home on the same day. Guess it wasnt a problem when one authority did the fixtures.
rhilldfc

Yeh, when we were in the SPL they done both fixtures but now we're in the 1st the Sfl do ours whilst the SPL do Uniteds.

Who gives a f**k about you?

Surely Utd being the senior team gets first shout every time?

You would think that but over the past few years we have been given it bar once I think.

Thrice; we had to shift a Challenge Cup game in the first season we were down, then the first games against Clyde at Dens in the past two seasons.

Any other clashes were sorted out by Setanta, or the order of the Scottish Cup draw. Hence those shouldn't be taken into consideration.

according to the tomorrows courier there is only one but when they first came out there was nine.

The game between Dundee and St Johnstone is a 'stand-alone' fixture on November 29th (the other 4 First Division games are a week earlier). I presume this game has been moved to avoid a fixture clash. Dundee and St Johnstone are free because their high league finish get them a bye to Round 4 of the Scottish Cup. If the clashes are limited to 1 all season, then its very good IMO.
Darkblueyonder
i would say 1

I could only remember the Clyde game in the season just passed when Dixon scored the OG.
