Stirling have signed Motherwell forward Martin Greehan. Joined the Well from Dundonald Bluebell in January but spent most of the time on loan with Forfar.

Given our manager is still on holiday, I'll be surprised if we've signed anyone in the last two weeks, although I had heard we'd been linked with this chap, so it may well happen this week.

Never heard of him previously, so I've no idea whether this will be a good signing or not.

Defo signed on Saturday - will join up with squad for pre-season training a week tomorrow.

How did he do at Forfar?

Scored a couple in 10 appearances. It's a gamble but perhaps we'll see the best of him after a proper pre-season with an SFL club.

Hard to judge, we hardly created any chances last season so he had a hard time but kept at it and got some reward.

Would have been glad to see him at Staish this season think he could be decent if given a good supply of crosses and support.

There's been no-one at the club the last two weeks! So unless he walked in, and signed the forms himself, then it's not done and dusted yet. I expect it will be though.

Regardless of whether he has signed or not I reckon he will do a very good job at lower 1st and 2nd division level.

He was an outstanding striker with Dundonald. Given that the level he played at and the service he was getting I think he will easily score between 15-25 goals a season in the second division.
