The thread wasn't needed tbh. I think it is accepted that certain police officers were heavy handed and obviously complaints would have been made. I have nothing but praise for the police who had an impossible job and were always courteous and helpful with us. Then again i wasn't faced by lines of riot police stopping me re-entering the city centre.
