Just wondering if anybody had any information on Thornliebank FC who were beaten 3-0 by Queens Park in the 1880 Scottish Cup Final because I can find nothing on the web?

Not a massive amount unfortunately, but they appear to have been SFA members from 1875 to 1907, entering the Scottish Cup 15 times in that period, 14 times in a row from 1876 to 1889-90 but thereafter a Qualifying Cup made it harder to reach.

Also, a club called Thornliebank Juniors played during the 1890s, disbanding in 1898, but it's uncertain if the two clubs are related.

After what appears to be a break of three years, they re-entered the Senior arena by entering the 1893-94 Renfrewshire Cup. Thereafter they entered the Scottish Cup via the Preliminary and Qualifying Cup stages.
