Howdy

What teams have Scotland (as in the senior men's team, no B internationals or women) never beaten (including friendlies)? I know Brazil and Turkey are two but there are probably a few more.

Also, using similar criteria , what teams have we never lost to? I would hope this is a longer list even allowing for disasters like Georgia and Egypt (who might actually go in the list above, come to think of it).

Edit: we obviously have to have played the teams so no Montenegro or Kazhakstan, thanks.

Dont think we have lost to Luxemburg despite Andy Roxburgh's best efforts. Also Malta, New Zealand, Canada. Faroe Islands

We have never lost to the CIS.

Well, if you haven't beaten them and they haven't beaten you, all the results between the teams have been... (see also Iran and Japan)

I assume Czech Rep is only from 1993 (or whenever it stopped being Czechoslovakia?)

Cheers, no real surprises in the 'never lost to' list apart from maybe Croatia and the South American teams but we've only played them three times I think.

Would like to think we would at the moment be favourites vs all the teams we've never beaten at Hampden apart from Brazil and the Czechs.

In terms of the USSR, they were known as the CIS in Euro 1992 and it to all intents and purposes still was the USSR minus Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. And, rarity as it was, we beat them!

Montenegro mainly because weve never played them.

There will be loads more countries in that boat, mainly outwith Europe, but Andorra is another European one which springs to mind.
