I obviously can't post in the bookmarked thread but I believe Accies got the furthest in the CIS Cup, the quater finals.

Whilst we are on that subject - who was the first managerial casualty in the 1st Division?

The first managerial "exit", which is what the original question was, was Owen Coyle when he departed St Johnstone for Burnley on November 22nd.

Wasn't a 'casualty' though. First one to lose his job was Stephen Kenny (Dunfermline) on 4th December.

Other job losses in the first division this season were:
Colin Hendry (Clyde) on 18th January
Jim McInally (Morton) on 11th February

Hamilton, Dundee, Queen of the South, Partick Thistle, Livingston and Stirling Albion didn't change managers in the season.
