Going by today's press it seems Traitor Wattie is a tad uptight - so yes - why not.

Certainly doensn't look as difficult as it did! I've seen much better teams at Parkhead this season, and I don't just mean in the Champions League!
I'm pinning my hopes on Dundee United or Motherwell turning them over.

Of course they can. I'd fancy our chances of taking points at Ibrox in any case, and we haven't beaten Celtic since 1999. We could be the kingmakers, so be nice to us.

That is simple...Celtic are just not good enough and the SPL cant give them Clark and Thomson for every game between now and the end of the season.
No Chance.

I know you've got your blue-tinted specs on as you say that, but how, after watching us pump you in the last two Old Firm games and having witnessed your own mob's insipid performance midweek against Fiorentina, can you suggest we aren't good enough to win it? We're at least as good as you on current form, though I will grant we have had more poor patches than you throughout the season.
The suggestion we win purely because of referees is puerile and as such I won't address it.
I believe it is called blind optimism

Of course they can still win it, but to suggest you "pumped" us in the last two games is stretching it a bit. You struggled to beat ten men in the last game, and you beat us in this game after a couple of questionable decisions from the ref and Amdy Faye coming on.

Yes, fair enough, I may have over-egged that a bit. But I was generally pleased with the manner of both victories as I felt we were positive in both games and dominated the midfield.

In all fairness, the only reason Rangers was reduced to 10 men was because one of their players saw fit to try to cheat his way to victory, by making a spectacular fingertip save. Had he not done this, Celtic would have won due to Nakamura having scored the second, without having to rely on a last minute goal. So had Rangers not cheated so devastatingly, Celtic would not have "struggled to beat ten men".

Rangers will win the league, however not at our place

which given some of our performances this season is a good thing. However they cannot "rest" players. However they have a slip up available and then some so this season to them methinks

Of course Celtic could win the league because, on current form, Rangers could very well drop points in two games. Their form has really slipped, they have a lot of away games to play, and they have suspensions and injuries to contend with now. However, Rangers must still be favourites and they can only throw it away. Much better teams than them have done just this though!

There are 3 teams below Celtic and rangers who are hungry for that 3rd spot and they will take some beatin.
first off, we need to make sure that we get the results against these teams before we talk about rangers slipping up.
Celtic CAN still win it, but rangers are clearly still in the driving seat.
the psychological factor of us havin the points in the bag will play a part in the run in though.
Mon the Hoops!

the key game is Hibs vs Rangers
a win for us will restore the momentum
If Rangers draw twice then its even. They have a lot of injuries and a few suspensions to could be tight

I have promised my mate Matt, a diehard Hibee, my ticket to the Scotland/Czech Republic game for free (can't go due to exams... grr) if Hibs take anything off Rangers.
I know it makes absolutely no difference as he has no influence on the game, but I will still be that gratefu l

Funny thing is, Celts need Gers in the UEFA cup final.

To answer the question, yes of course we can win the title. We have went on a decent run results wise since our capitulation at The Goven Reichstag and to Motherwell, even though our performances have left a lot to be desired. What’s going in our favour is that the team odds on to win the SPL are nothing special. Of the four top six sides they have left to play, they have already lost to two of them and drew with the other two in the league this season. So there certainly is hope there. Unfortunately, we also have to do our bit and beat the three teams we have left to play – which given our performances this season is easier said than done. If we get to the last day with all to play for then who knows – certainly it’s only a glimmer of hope I have and it looks like that defeat to Motherwell may come back to haunt us.

I think Celtic have a chance, although as well as the Motherwell game glasnost mentions they've also dropped points at home to St Mirren and Dundee Utd, and had they won any one of those games (or all of them as you'd expect) then they'd be in a far stronger position.
Rangers fixture pileup combined with the fact they're not that great anyway could mean they throw it away but you can see both of them failing to win games to come. Celtic have far less room for error.
I think this weekend is the clincher. If Rangers win in Edinburgh they will win the league. If they don't, I think Celtic will.
