With a top that bad you would have thought a decent burd to model it would have been on the agenda.
Thistle should bring out the red and yellow Melchester Rovers kit aka 76/77.

Strange thing is, I have always liked the Thistle top. Shame the bands didn't go all the way round though.
Will you be up in arms the same as the Celtic chappies would if the sacred hoops didn't make it all the way round?

Not really, we changed to red and yellow hoops in 1930(ish) and we've since had plain yellow, stripes, the half and half 'jester' effort of 2004-06 and the Colonel Gees monstrosity in the 80s. So it's not as if hoops have been a constant. Indeed we were rumoured to be going back to stripes this year.
Only plus point I can see to the back is that it makes the numbers easier to read for opposition fans.

No, but we will be wearing it on Saturday, without the sponsor I'd imagine- we're waiting to see what Resolution change their name to before adding that to the strips and putting them on sale.

As bright red and yellow tops go it is quite smart, best Thistle top in a while.

Cat Harvey, she's on Real Radio, and is a proper Jags fan. I remember standing in front of her at Brockville one day in about 1992 when she was giving Gerry Britton pelters with the vilest of language.

I take it her Real Radio promo shot was also taken about 1992...

As she looks a complete dug in the pic on the PT website.

The strip? Not bad. The back being all one colour isn't a bad thing at all, we've done the same with our strips this year.

It looks okay. Growing up in the 70's & 80's I always think of Partick tops as being yellow and red stripes, much in the same way I think of Killie in blue & white hoops. . Am I dreaming when I say I can remember Partick having plain yellow tops with red trim along with the 70/80's original of your new badge, circa 1986.
