Full Version: Bloody Disgrase
The Pie Shop > SPL and SFL Football > Rangers v Celtic, Celtic v Rangers
Daddy Bear
Just heard from a fellow bear tonight that we are been investigated for racist chanting at the orish place, it seems that fuckking idiots from show racism the red card have contacted the SPL/SFA about a bit of fun and an announcement is expected before sunday's game from Rangers.

How many times must we lie down to the attacks on our culture, we might as well shut shop as we cannot even have a laugh, add that to not being able to celebrate our heritige.

I'm livid, the dignty in which we have held our consul under constant attack has this bear feeling decidely blue sad.gif Like our fourfathers we are made of stearner stuff, the same backbone that seen us win the wars will undoubetly prevail, we can do no other, stand we must. I know from seeing the people that sit around me at Ibrox that I stand with people who sit beside me and share the same pride

I often wonder where they would have been
If we hadn't have taken them in
Fed them and washed them
Thousands in Glasgow alone
From Ireland they came
Brought us nothing but trouble and shame
Well the famine is over
Why don't they go home?

Now Athenry Mike was a thief
And Large John he was fully briefed
And that wee traitor from Castlemilk
Turned his back on his own
They've all their Papists in Rome
They have U2 and Bono
Well the famine is over
Why don't they go home?

Now they raped and fondled their kids
That's what those perverts from the darkside did
And they swept it under the carpet
and Large John he hid
Their evils seeds have been sown
Cause they're not of our own
Well the famine is over
Why don't you go home?

Now Timmy don't take it from me
Cause if you know your history
You've persecuted thousands of people
In Ireland alone
You turned on the lights
Fuelled U boats by night
That's how you repay us
It's time to go home

I actually find some of his posts vaguely amusing. Perhaps the only rangers fan I can think of that can achieve such a feat.

There's worse aliases. Such as Vintex

Some are fairly amusing, but the recent influx of teenage Old Firm fans has kind of diluted the "shock" value. Plus, sometimes he forgets that he's pretending to be a pig thick Glasgow Rangers fan and gets a bit too clever...

The Croat who is wanting travel advice for Dunfermline and Kilmarnock? Either that's a hell of a crap travel agent they have over there, or a bad alias (but I've never worked out who it is, yet)

All of the other prominent Celtic posters are boring dicks, so it's none of them.

I'm hardly an expert at copying and pasting, but an hour and a half seems like an awfully long time to take to do it.

Perhaps you should attend a local college and attempt a basic IT skills course.

I sincerely hope this is a wind up by Timmy. Because you are, if you're a Rangers supporter, very much in a tiny minority now and if I came across you at Ibrox, I would have no hesitation in providing your details. The club and fans have moved on from this pish.

Or in other words, confronting the facts makes you squirm uncomfortably.

A fairly hollow summing up, but to be expected from such as yourself. I didn't at any stage contradict myself and you're completely out of context in a pathetic attempt at point scoring. You go on about brainless and then just continue to spout Beyemistic's party line. Are you getting the irony ? laugh.gif

I have no need to move. Big Jock Knew. Fact. I can't change history. Neither can you, however much you try. I don't get the correlation in being a bigot versus stating known historical fact ?

I'm not deflecting, I'm just trying to get to what your argument is ? Maybe if you set it out, you'll understand it yourself ?

OK, I didn't ask you about your middle parting on this thread, but I thought you might be capable of holding more than one thought in tandem. Clearly, I was wrong, so I edited it out for you so that you're no longer confused. rolleyes.gif

You said in reply to Daddy Bear's original post about large john was aware that the club and their fans had moved on from this sort of pish whilst I pointed out that you hadn't and you were one of the most vocal idiots who spouted this nonsense.

After I challenged you on this you tried to hide behind the excuse that you only said this in reply to a banner that was brought out only last week. I was happy to point out that you were indeed lying and that you have been one of the most vocal users of this nonsense for as long as you have been a member on here.

It's really not that hard to understand Ted, even for people who can't think for themselves like you. Get your drinking buddy to read it out to you just now and you might understand it a bit easier.

I think you should think about what constitutes 'historical fact', and then buy a dictionary and look up the words 'hearsay' and 'context'.
If we were talking in actual 'facts' then surely you would realise that Jock Stein always hated the individual concerned, and with no actual evidence of any wrongdoing, physically ejected the man from Celtic Park. I think you would also consider the context of the time in which this occurred, and the attitudes to child abuse and dealing with it in those days, throughout the UK.
Or would you rather take one line spoken in court out of context, refuse to look at any background info, hang manky mattresses off motorways in order to get one-up on your football rivals and spread vile slander about a great manager out of jealousy and spite?

Scotland's shame indeed.

Its getting to the point now where you almost feel sorry for the stuffy old huns in their support. I mean, sure they're almost always wrinkled bigots with stern pinched faces, but they are from a different era and generally have some weak ethical impulses pertaining to 'decency' - albeit vague and selectively applied. The Orangeism and related stuff about wading through Fenian blood was an obvious blind-spot.

But these pungent relics must now look on as the name of their club is dragged through the dirt yet again with all the BJK stuff - which, I'm sure even to them, is pretty hard to stomach.

Just another shameful episode in the history of dignity FC?

Or 'progress' of sorts, away from specifically anti-Catholic hate towards more generalised outpourings of hateful bile?

Time will tell.

Your not wrong in identifying that within our support we have our fair share of idiots who should be giving up on the old nonsense especially as they don`t really know what the culture behind that singing is really about.

It also makes me cringe when I hear Celtic supporters, especially Scots born supporters who sing `Up the`RA`.
Would they know what living in NI during the `troubles` was like either!?!

Do any ever think about the Scottish mothers who lost their sons and daughters because of the atrocities committed during that time.

Mindless singing by both sets of OF fans who have never experienced the pain and suffering that went on in NI is about as low as it gets!

I`m sure you would agree Mr Beyemystic?

This part is nothing more than a brazen attempt to re-establish 'symmetry' and tar Celtic with a heady dose of shame-by-association.

My own (or anyone elses) thoughts re. Irish political movements are here nor there because they have absolutely nothing to do with what we are talking about. Naturally I would feel nothing but sympathy toward all these hypothetical mothers who lost their children in atrocities. But, again, I'm puzzled as to their relevance to this discussion.

What I will say is that there is no legal or moral difficulty inherent to singing Irish songs (despite what some would have you believe) - in stark contrast to the sectarian/increasingly disgusting antics of huns. I think UEFA's position largely reflects that: huns=guilty, sectarian; Celtic fans=no case to answer.

I`m glad you replied Mr Beyemystic...but unfortunately, you didn`t let me down with your familiar blindness either.

One of the main reasons religious bigotry has lasted so long is due to people like yourself who are afraid to stand up against both sides and condemn all who choose to side with sectarianism!

Maybe one day you will eventually take off the blindfold although currently, I`m very doubtful of your capability to do so! sad.gif

I wonder how long it will be before the disgusting campaign is blamed on 'the old firm'?

What do you mean Mr Beyemystic. We know who created the campaign.

Your not still suffering from the `bitter` syndrome and think Celtic will get tarred with this campaign. Surely not! We all know it was fans who follow our club who started the campaign. Not yours. Obviously!

Your club have their own problems and campaign issues to sort out and it would be better if you tried to do something to educate certain fans attached to your club instead of thinking everything`s wonderful in your own garden.

Pouring petrol on a fire doesn`t extinguish it, just in case you thought it did!

We`re trying to sort out our problems. Would you not be better to sort out yours?

Then maybe we would be getting somewhere together!
