Your Team
Your Best Player Of The Season: David Hutton. McLennan has been okay and Clarke looks ace since coming in during the January transfer window but Hutton is comfortably our PotY.
Your Worst Player Of The Season: Andrew Traub.
Your Team's Best Performance: 1-0 vs Dundee away. Defended comfortably then struck well on the break to sneak the game.
Your Team's Worst Performance: 3-1 defeat vs Stirling.
The Team You Gubbed: The only sides we've beaten by more than a goal this season are Stirling and Montrose, both 2-0. Montrose had plenty of chances and the second came in stoppage time, so I suppose it'd better be Stirling.
Best Managerial Decision:
Worst Managerial Decision: Div McGowan up front, or playing Neil McGregor in midfield against QotS when we had two midfielders on the bench.
Most Improved Player: Tough one. Div MacKay has been a lot better since pushed out wide, so probably him. All the ones that have been here since August have gone backwards.
The Player Who Disappointed You Most: Christian Smith showed signs of developing into a decent player November/December time but has gone back to being rubbish. Won't pick him though as he always puts in the effort/fight that others don't. You could pick 7 or 8 others at least but I'd go with McGregor. On his day he's as good as anyone in the division but despite generally playing okay, he consistently produces moments of complete lunacy that have cost us hugely.
Player Of The Year: Hutton and McLennan both picked up awards.
Rest Of The League
The Best Team You Watched: Over 20 minutes, Livi on the 15th December. Since January, Queens. Over the season, Hamilton.
The Worst Team You Watched: Would have to say us, just ahead of Dundee. Given that Thistle, St Johnstone, Morton, Dunfermline, Livi, Hamilton, Stirling and Queens have all been dreadful in spells (ranging from 45 minutes in the case of Hamilton, to every game for Dunfermline), it sums up how rubbish the division has been this year.
Underperformers Of The Season: St Johnstone.
Overachievers Of The Season: Dundee.
Sitting Back XI: Us under Colin Hendry.
Hackers XI: The stats don't lie - we've had a ridiculous number of cards this year. Gary McKenzie deserves a mention for escaping a red card despite three red card offences in one game.
Long Ball XI: Partick Thistle and that was with Damon Gray up front

Worked perfectly though.
Football Playing XI: Livi in spells, probably Queens overall.
The Best Player: James McArthur by miles.
The Worst Player: Traub for us, Daquin in general.
Cart-Horse Of The Season: Brian Wake.
Manager Of The Season: Billy Reid.
Days Out
Best Day Out You Had: 2 stoppage time goals at Morton.
Worst Day Out You Had: Hamilton last weekend.
Best Away Stadium: Livingston.
Worst Away Stadium: Thistle.
Best Food: Dunfermline steak bridies
Worst Food: Can't remember buying much else, though my hot chocolate at St Johnstone was minging.
Best Bargain: £3 to get in at Queens.
Biggest Rip-Off: The Irn Bru Scottish First Division.
Best Crowd Noise: Opening day at Morton was good all round.
Worst Crowd Noise: Night game vs St Johnstone. You could literally hear everything the players were saying.
Law & Order
Best Referee: I always like Willie Collum but John Underhill is the best in Scotland.
Worst Referee: Mike Tumilty. His display vs Livingston in September was the worst I've ever seen, or am ever likely to see. Three non-existant penalties, three non-existant red cards, a host of ridiculous yellows.
Best Decision: Can't think of anything in particular - this has been a poor season for referees and I'm pretty reasonable towards them.
Worst Decision: Linesman vs Livi giving offside when Griffiths passed to himself.
Club With Best Stewarding: Plenty of good stewards - us, Hamilton, Thistle etc. In other words, the ones that don't care.
Club With Worst Stewarding: Dundee.
And Finally...
Were you pleased with how your team finished in the table? - Not yet. Either way, given the basis Hendry had to work with, we should have been mid-table with a good pre-season and signings for the right positions.
Were you satisfied with the entertainment? - I've enjoyed 4/5 games this season. We lost two of them 3-2 (Morton opening day, Hamilton in January). Also liked the two wins vs Livi and the win in Perth was a reasonable game.
What could your team improve on? - Stop messing things up when we're in a good position. Get a decent manager, have a consistent pre-season, bring in required players before August 31st (or later) and play attacking football.
And where do you see yourselves this time next year? - Second division, 4th.
