Alright folks, I've got a Dell Inspiron 1500 Laptop, and the charger cable has snapped just above where it plugs into the laptop. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to open it up, solder and re-seal, but just in case this doesn't work, does anyone have a charger compatible with my laptop they'd be willing to sell at a reasonable price? Failing that, where's the cheapest place I can get one?

Cheers for that smile.gif

It's just a loose wire, as if I wiggle it about a bit then the wire "connects" and the charger works, so I'm hoping that it'll just be a case of soldering it - got a mate who's a sparky on the rigs so I'll get him to give me a hand when he's next home. Hopefully that'll work, but if not I'll give Ebay a whirl.
