Full Version: Queens Going To Espana Next Month...........
I for one will be going to Spain for my holidays to watch Queens play in a couple of pre-cup Final friendly games in preparation for their big day
I hope they can get a team of equal standing and not one of the regional division clubs that make up most of the Spanish leagues. I hope that they go for someone like Granada, Cordoba or Malaga.

They aren't playing any football out there. They are going for four nights after the Dunfermline game.
What do the queens fans think about the 4 week break before the final?
Should be no new injuries but the players might be a bit rusty.
Never understood why our league has suddenly stopped a month earlier than normal.

What the hell is the point of going to Spain in MAY if you are not going to play a game?
You might as well take the team to Southerness or Sandy Hills at this time of year to train.

So, what's the problem? St Johnstone will have a similar layoff before the final. It will be the same for both teams.

As I already said, they aren't playing any football out there, though they will be doing some training. They are golfing mostly. And yes they are staying at the complex where other football teams go. Certainly Gretna have used it before because Stevie Tosh was there with them.

Spoke to Sean yesterday at a charity event in Dumfries and he was saying that it was golfing in the main, and as Dex said a rewarding holiday for the efforts by the team so far.
They should be forced to run up and down sand dunes after that defeat on Saturday.
