I have now completed our roll out of a new advertising platform here on Pie and Bovril. These now appear in three locations on the forum for Guests and Gold members.

These adverts over time will become more and more relevant and targetted to P&B users but even now these will represent some very big corporate brands and offers that should be of some interest to our visitors.

I appreciate that advertising can be intrusive, and the very last thing I want to do is to spoil the forum, but I have plans for the site moving forward and growing and this all needs funded. This summer we will move the site to a bigger and faster server platform for example that should help remove the IPS errors we still experience from time to time (although not as often hopefully as we did ?)

Of course if you really do not like the adverts you can join the Platinum Members club where for £10 a year you get to opt out of the forum adverts.

I am still working on adding some innovative content to our homepage and our "summer of fun" will see quite a lot of activity on that front.
