Full Version: What Is The Attendances For These Teuchter Games?
The Pie Shop > International & Other Football & Other Sports > Highland League

They never really get any coverage in the news papers.

can anyone give me the average attendance for these games?
Lossie Loon
Generally speaking clubs like Inverurie Locos and Buckie Thistle will get average attendances around the 400-500 mark with a 'typical' crowd of around 400 being boosted by the occasional match that attracts 800-1200.

Lower down the table clubs will have an average of around 100-150 - i.e. a typical crowd of around 100, boosted by occasional games that attract around 300.

cheers mate
fishy
Attendances for this weekends games were printed in the record today. Off the top if my head the Cove Rangers v Buckie Thistle game had 700 people, Forres Mechanics v Inverurie had 250 and the Clach game (I think) had 280 can't remember any others though.

I wouldn't rely on newspaper HFL attendances, many clubs are rumoured to fabricate them.

Either your thinking is very much wrong or the Record is as accurate as ever.

Maybe they've borrowed one of our turnstyles.

That said, I should be there myself this Saturday so that'll probably boost the crowd by about 17.

This thread is about attendances at Teuchter games. But there is mention of Cove, Buckie and Inverurie. None of which are located in Teuchterland. Bizarre.

Well PRS, about 150 I reckon but as you know it's quality not quantity that counts smile.gif . I thought Keith would bring through a few more - they obviously feared what was to come.

Spot on Raybees can remember the season we won our first league title and drawing with Clach at Clach infront of a Crowd of about 250-300 the atmosphere was something else that day.

Keith this season took about 15 fans to PRP and Clach in the last cup game took about 6 and Cove took about the same but with Cove going for the league title all there glory hunters start to appear big time.

Hope Clach put one over the tinky toonsers on saturday biggrin.gif
