After seeing his performance last night I just wondered if anyone could comfirm if he is?
glasnost
He certainly had a poor game as did the linesman – some of his decisions in the 2nd half looked absurd from where I was sitting. Unfortunately such sub-standard officiating is what we have come to expect.

Agreed. Robson should have been sent off in the 1st minute for his shameful cowardly attack on Dailly. I can confirm that Kenny Clark is indeed an integral member within the great Hun conspiracy to oppress Timmy and is steeped in Hunnery. yada yada ya.................

What bollox. Clark had a good game and was clearly not one way or the other, both teams could look at various parts in the game and say the referee could have done this or that, the fact is he handled the game exactly as it should be and let play flow on many occassions, which I beleive all referees need to do.
As for the topic of this discussion, one word.."pathetic". huh.gif
H_B
I thought he had a really good game.
Gallacticos
I thought the referee was poor the whole game. Gave the penalty correctly though it was a bit obvious, but he lacked consistency when giving free kicks and was wont to give a free kick for a meaty challenge that minutes before he had waved play on to.

Terrible wasn't it?

Kenny Clark is actually a Celtic supporter. I worked with a guy who is a member of the Erskine supporters club and Kenny Clark was speaking there

I thought he favoured celtic the whole game.

He sent cueller off straight away when many other refs would not of seen the hand ball.

McGeady should of had a straight red card for his tackle directly from behind (can't remember who was the victim was)

I honestly cannot understand why this topic is even open?

Forget it HB, us "reasonable and level headed" fans are obviously not tainted enough to see that the ref had a bad game.

Well I tell you gents, if you think that is bad refereeing, try watching Ian Brines fumble his way through 90 minutes at Love Street on a wet Wednesday night. THAT is when you'll see poor refereeing, not last night.

He'd have had to have gouged his own eyes out before kick off to have missed the hand ball.

You know when people are reduced to "err, he gave inconsistent fouls" to justify why a ref had a bad game that they are struggling.

Show me a refereeing performance ever that couldn't be accused of giving inconsistent fouls at one time or another.

I always judge refs on whether they got the big decisions right or not - I can't fault Clark for any that he made.

Er....

...are you complaining that the referee called the offence right, dealt with it quickly and kept the game moving? blink.gif

On a serious note, I actually agree with you. I think this sort of petty religious undertones only takes away from what was an excellent game last night.
Beren
I thought he had a good game and actually thought Lump was lucky to stay on the park when he got booked for his tackle on Novo (maybe it was because it was on that little kunt that Clark only booked him)

usual poor wee huns canny handle getting pumped, tongue.gif The ref is a grandmaster, Celtic are glorious and everyone connected with Flybrox are cocks biggrin.gif
Simpson10
Listen to yourself mate we were hardly pumped from where I was sitting we lost because celtic scored as they always do in the last minute. I thought the ref had a decent game but I also thought that hesselhink was lucky to stay on the park but apart from that could have no complaints about the referee. The league is still in the bag biggrin.gif
No8.
He had a poor game but we know what to expect from Timmy Clark. Robson should have gone in 60 seconds for that assault and Hartley should have walked for the over the ball tackle on McCulloch. Both shocking challenges and like Cuellars red they were obvious. Funnily enough he only saw Cuellars.

Hmm... as a neutral, I would say Celtic had the lion's share of the play. If you are defining "pumped" as goals scored then you weren't, but you were lucky to come out of that just 2-1 down.

I would happily agree with that.

I can confirm Kenny Clark is actually a Celtic supporter and received the match ball, autographed by all the Celtic players when Celtic beat St Johnstone 2-0 at Parkhead to stop Rangers winning 10-in-a-row.

However..I think he has done a great job as a referee and can`t ever say he has shown bias for any one team against the other in matches he has ref`d in.

Sure he`s made mistakes but tell me a ref who hasn`t!

The Old Firm fans on this thread should come on down to the Third Division (which is what Berwick are doing), and learn to appreciate that they have the best (of a bad lot?) referees in the SPL...

what about the challenge, i think it was daily, just before the rangers goal on the half way line. from where i was sitting it was a clear free kick. if player scores a simple tap in but makes countless bad passes is a yard slow and wins nothing in the air, would you consider him to have had a good game. i dont think refs should be any different. i thnk clark had a poor game, i was at the game and haven't seen it on tv so i may be wrong. i dont think he was biased but i do think he was poor.

Have you ever played football?....Dailly`s challenge was more than fair.....it`s still a man`s game to me or do you think we should have non contact in the sport now!

What about it?

He won the ball because he wanted it more. You can't seriously be claiming that was a foul? Mark Wilson sold the jerseys by leaving his position to make a powder puff challenge. Rat boy scored. Simple.

I’d like to know why Novo wasn’t booked after he ‘celebrated’ his goal.

Because of the pretend symmetry. Either that or it was the hun conspiracy. Or he was treated exactly the same way as the dog eater and hadaw**k
