Athletic were 2 up early goal from Carnochan and Murdoch got a second for them both from corners. Athletic looked the more determined team first half but was just a midfeild battle. Stranraer were the better team second half. Athletic began to tire and then the game got a bit tasty. Jame Cochrane got a great goal back Stranraer curling it in for the edge of the box he then added a second after some good play from sub Callum Dunn who then manged to feed the ball to Cochrane for another good finish. Stuart McColm came of the bench to score the winner with a great header at the back post.
Stranrer feilded three first teamers. Darren Gribbon, Ian Cashmore and Jamie Cochrane. Cashmore and Gribbon showed very little. Both were played out of position aswell.
Can anyone tell me what round of the cup that was I think it was the Haig Gordon Cup.
