What’s the reason for Forth William struggling year after year? They have been in the bottle of the HL almost every season.

They are based in a town of some dimension and don’t have other clubs in the area, so it’s expected that they could achieve more.

Thanks,

Edited to add:

Fort come from shinty country, where football is a second sport at best. They have poor facilities, a town of folk not interested and have to go 70 miles for their nearest game. They did get off to a half decent start when they joined the league, but have sunk and are in trouble. I do think they could do better but they never get any kind of luck. They can occasionally hold their own against half the North FA and only last minute winners from Buckie and Lossie ensured point-free afternoons for them recently.

I believe they've bottomed out and will improve slightly, slowly, sometime soon, but it'll be hard for them to maintain anything.

431 - the junior game I attended at the weekend had more than that. No premier clubs could possibly attract such a poor crowd, could they? wink.gif

aye, theyve gone from whipping boys via a massive cash injection and a paid full time manager to utter mid table mediocrities(although to be fair the players egos outweigh their achievements on the park),they can be very proud of their magnificent progress.
hoping to be at fort this weekend, lets hope lucks on their side for once
