From time to time I like to take in a Highland League game and was thinking of doing so this weekend. There are two ties on close to Aberdeen and both are involving teams at the top of the table (top 4 I think actually).

Which one is likely to provide the best entertainment, most goals and best food? biggrin.gif

Thoughts appreciated - cheers smile.gif

Well in order to stay in the race for the league, Cove have to win. Have to. Plenty injuries on both sides tho, so its hard to say what you'll get, but thats a game both sides have to win to have any chance of winning the league.

Lossie have played all four sides recently and not one has been as good as expected. Cove were probably the worst of the lot.

As for best food, thats easy - Cove.

I was at the Cove v Deveronvale game in cove last year and it was a cracker 2-2 i think and a great pie at half time as well.

Good stuff - cheers guys smile.gif

I went to see Locos v Cove last season. Finished 1 - 1 and Keith won the title as a result. Cracking wee game actually. Much more enjoyable than some post split pish involving ICT and Falkirk so these games make a nice change and are much lighter on the old wallet!

I'm torn between ICT v Aberdeen and Clach v Buckie. I have an ICT season ticket but the chance to shout abuse at Craig McMillan may be too much to resist laugh.gif
