Going from our last season in the 1st Division he could hold his own there. He would be one of the few members of our squad that could hack the 1st Division. Not so sure about the SPL, but I'd imagine that McGlynn is a better judge than me seen as he was a coach in the SPL.

Davidsons temper occasionally annoys me, however he is a "Jersey Player" - the kind of guys we need to get us to/through the playoffs.

Having said that, I thought the loan boys looked committed today - they actually looked as though they wanted to fight for 3 points - which was refreshing and encouraging.

Are there more frustrating players than David Templeton and Derek Carcary? They've both clearly got ability, and in fact are probably the two most skillful players in our squad. Yet they never seem to do anything!

Templeton had one excellent turn and cross today, that was about it. He seemed scared to take Lovering on to me. Carcary didn't really do anything.

Game of missed chances for Raith. Deserved win for Raith. Airdrie had nothing up front. Enough said

I thought Carcary looked threatening when he came on, and he nut-megged an Airdrie defender out on the wing which was nice

Don't know if anyone knows this but after Templeton went off he collapsed just before he got to the dressing room he came too though and I don't think he had to go to hospital

It's not bad actually, I used to be a regular up the back of the South Stand, singing and everything, but the stewards have put a stop to that, I'm fed up being told to sit down or I will be thrown out.

On the plus side, I have sat down the front twice this season, once against Cowden and of course today, we won both games

We played quite well, we were very comfortable until we nearly done 'a Rovers' and threw away an undeserved equaliser! Hopefully the worst of our form is behind us, and after the Ross County game we've got three big games we should be looking to take nine points from. I still think we'll be playing you guys next season though!

Probably the worst we've played all season..defo missed big Russell up front. in fairness i felt both teams were sizing each other up with a view to the playoffs. on that showing today, with Russell, Holmes and Dougal available, i see no reason why we can't beat raith over two legs. we couldn;t string two passes together today, although all credit to Raith as they seemed to deny us time on the ball. we had a few weak claims for penalties, and Fahey's time wasting was pathetic. sorry. but when injured players get treatment, do they not have to go off the park?? Passmarks today - i thought Watt provided a spark up front when he came on, but why take offf Noble? It just wasn't happening for Prunty today. Kev Mac was pretty decent in midfield but Campbell and Smith were poor linking together. as for Waddell - he's never an outside left, better having him at left back, helping old man lovers; McKenna had a poor game too, and as for adreoni, he'd be bettor off back at Dundee united, along with his mate goodwillie... the two o them looked best of pals!!

Fantastic result and a surprising one. I don't understand how the team can go from playing utter pish to fairly well in the space of one week? The debate is now, can they continue the performance to Dingwall? I didn't go to yesterdays game so i'm more sceptical, but i really don't think we'll be able to take anything off County. Fingers crossed though.
