Unfortunately it wasn't. What an awful couple of weeks. Humped by the Durty Wiikers, who then beat Inverurie Locomotiv Moscow Works last week and we lose to Lossie today. I'm off for a walk in the woods with a revolver.

How was the game? Vale won in extra time i hear?

Probably the worst Vale game i've been to this season. A draw would have been a fair result in the end. We played good the first 15 minutes and had a few good chances to take the lead then switched off, the game after that was boring, shite atmosphere inside the ground and shite game. Vale/Clach games have been known to have a good atmosphere there was probably 400 at the game with Clach taking around 10 fans with them even Keith and Lossie took better numbers to PRP. With it being a cup game you would have thought Clach would have atleast taking a good 50-100 down with them but not a peep from them the whole game so the Canal bank faithful spent the 90 minutes winding up the Clach players who seemed to bite at everything to be fair to them they gave us it back in good nature. The goal in extra time was a well worked goal was also a cracking cross from the man of the match Allan Stephen who was as solid as ever but the guy who scored it has to be one of the worst players i've ever seen in a Vale shirt but hey if he's banging them in for us can't really complain but he really is basic. Cove in the next round, bring it in on!!!!

It was bloody awful. Both teams were shocking. Keith Robertson is possibly the laziest player I have ever seen. Then he had a cheek to claim the goal (it was an own goal by my reckoning). Allan Stephen was superb though and he was really the difference between the two teams - deserved MOTM. Too much punting it up to the strikers from both teams - no wonder Chiz is looking like a poor player, he never gets a touch. Why why why does no-one tuck in behind Chiz at goal kicks? He wins the header EVERY TIME.

Did you go to Nairn last night, well well well after saturdays shocking performance we bounce back with a cracking away display. Keith Roberston STOLE the show in the first half looked different class. Chiz was also on fire with 2 cracking goals. The first half performance was probably the best i've seen from us this season if we play like that at Cove we should have no problem beating them. Died down a bit in the 2nd half but the game was already won, was also good to see local lad Grant Noble score again. Another thing i must point out we seem to be playing alot of local lads which is good to see i know Keith,Locos and Buckie are mainly Aberdeen based players well we must have atleast 7 Local lads starting week in week out. If we can keep this winning run going i reckon we have a great chance on winning the league.

Keith appear to be the strongest, and Buckie have the points in the bag already, and it would take a monumental choke for them not to win it. Tho thats not impossible for them.

It'll be a bit clearer tomorrow, but of the four left (Buckie, Cove, Vale, Keith), I'd put Vale below the others.

Your right enough we are in with a good shout. Need to win tomorrow a draw would even do us to be honest. Out of the five teams at the top i still think we are the best side, having seen Cove & Buckie this season don't think any of the two of them are upto much. With the amount of money Buckie & Locos have spent the pair of them have been really poor however Locos are still the best team i've seen this season. We still have to play Keith away and Locos at home so no doubt they will be big games for us.

It was but to be honest we were unlucky on saturday. Did you go to the game or did you have your girls team ?

After playing so well at Nairn mid week on a bowling green pitch we had the joys of going to Rainbow Taxis Park or staduim or whatever the f**k its called. Not only is the park bumpy the pitch is the size of a seven aside pitch so this game was always going to be scrappy. First half we played not to bad and when Roberston got hacked to the ground one of the Cove players tried to take a punch at him while on the ground so the ref had no choice to send him off, silly boy. We then took the lead after some good play with Dougal(i think hitting the post) and Chiz tapping it in to take a well deserved lead. Now with us having a 11 and Cove only having 10 players we should have taken advantage of this but somehow Cove go up the park and score two goals out of nothing. First one was a screamer and the second goal was a cracker. Much to the delight of the 100 or so Cove fans(a bit more than the 5 fans they took to prp, mind you they are pushing for the title)

Second half we did have the better of the play but never really had much decent attempts at goal Chiz did have a header but the Cove keeper pulled off the best save i've seen all season how he saved it i will never know, if we had scored i reckon we would have went onto win the game at this time it was attack after attack from the Vale. But Cove did well with 10 men then Scott Fraser took Barry Stephen out of the game with a wreckless tackle so he had to go. Overall i think Cove have a great chance on winning the league, some of there players looked good on the day.

I think it's all over for us now but all we can do now is keep winning and hope to get revenge on Cove in a few weeks time when we play them in the cup.
