Linlithgow have eight players out with a flu bug. Can any of the Rose supporters tell me how many signed players they actually have and do they have any other players out injured .

Not a Linlithgow fan but I believe they have a squad of 19, and 2 players out with long tem injury - broken leg or somin.

The word trialist springs to mind!¬!!!!!1

Its a fairly important cup tie!!not the easist shout to rustle up at least 6 trialists on a Friday afternoon, obviously looked at the situation and what alternatives were available and went with it,the SJFA dont seem to have any issues.

You can't play trialists in a Scottish tie, only registered players

The Rose have operated with a squad of about 19 for the last few years. 25 is the max. I suspect most teams operate with about 19 or 20. Any more and you are paying guys who will be seen in one or two games a season and it's hard to keep them happy.

I don't think it would matter what the game was tomorrow - for any club in that situation. It's a shame - would have been a cracker. Don't know where to head tomorrow - might just wait and see who's on and who's not. Bo'ness have a top of the table game but I'd rather see a Scottish Cup match. But the games in the east-central belt don't have the look of cracking matches or cup shocks.

The Rose have 21 signed players and 11 were unavailable for today. There was no keeper in the 10 left.
