According to the BBC:

Livingston wing-back and Scotland under-21 Graeme Dorrans is set for a trial with West Brom next week.

Dorrans, 20, has 18 months remaining on his current contract, but has attracted interest from Rangers, Middlesbrough, Dundee United and Inverness.

He started his career as a youth player with Livingston and has scored nine goals in 25 appearances this season. Livingston's manager Mark Proctor has said he would not stand in the player's way if a suitable offer was made.

Well that blows Dundees claim out the water then

Virtual Insanity
He was never going to go to Dundee, anyone with an ounce of sense knew that.

says he is a striker on the livi website???
Livi Crazy
He tends to play on the right side of the midfield with Snoddy on the other side. Better there than as an out and out striker

Is this a report from the 1930's? Baggy shorts, wing backs and Charley Charles Charles.

At least it didn't say "Inside Right" or something of that ilk. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I don't think anyone seriously believed Dundee were in with a shout for him. I think it was only mentioned in 1 report, and that was it.

Wow talk about ignorant. West Brom have been the Baggies since the 1900s possibly it was given to them by Villa because of the Baggie trousers used by the Iron Foundry West Brom fans to protect themselves from molten Iron at work, or because the taking were carried from the turnstiles in large bags to the cash office on the halfline line soon after kick off.

As for wing backs I take it you slept through the 90s, or maybe you werre still at primary school, when wing backs were back in favour and many teams played 3-5-2, utilising wing backs.

He's a good finisher, but would be surprised if West Brom went for him - think he'd be out of his depth at that level.

No. I was being completely serious. wink.gif

I cant remember anyone calling anyone "wing backs" in the 1990s regardless if they were playing a 3-5-2.

FYI I was drunk most of the 1990s. Thankfully.

I was worried that Dundee were going to sign him so the news that bigger clubs are interested relieves me quite a bit.

I've said it before he is an excellent player, someone that would have pulled Dundee level with us or even ahead of us.

Dorrans is certainly not the finished article, you could see that against C'beath on tue.night. dry.gif
Final ball is very poor at times.Might be a good time for him to move on to a bigger club...WBA could be to big a step.
