I have a Samsung YP-Z5 mp3 player and today finally got round to updating from WMP10 to WMP11.

The problem I have is that now when I add songs to my mp3 player the file displays album art on the screen which I don't want but I can't work out how to transfer files minus the album art.

Anyone?

Have the mp3 player plugged into your computer.
Open up My Computer and navigate to afore mentioned mp3 player.
If your using XP, click Tools, select Folder options, click on the view tab and put a dot in the "show hidden files" section

All the album art stored in each album/folder will now show up so feel free to delete until your heart's content.

To be honest, I use Winamp which is free and has tons of plugins for tons of things (a perfect iTunes replacement too as there is an iPod plugin too). It's also not the bloated piece of sh*t that both iTunes and Media Player are... wink.gif

huh.gif That's a software media player... whereas, H Wragg was talking about a hardware mp3 player displaying album art as I understand it.

Unless of course you were just sharing with the group what you prefer to use... in that case that's ok biggrin.gif
