Keane is a fuckin shitebag, is that him stamping on the player at 3mins 33 seconds as well? What a scumbag. I'd seen the Haaland one before but seein that other one has made my opinion of him even lower.

Omar Rezgane's awful lunge on Roddy Hunter
Tom Parratt's two footed lunge from behind on Douglas Imrie
Brian Easton stamping on Craig McKeown's chest
Mark Gilhaney kicking David Hutton on the head

Virtual Insanity
No Alex Rae kicking a grounded Russian player in the head? Shame.
Mr Roberts
Imrie on McCabe?

though technically it's not a tackle because the ball was long gone.
EKACCIES
Jim Sheery on Willie McLaren, predicted it a week ina dvance, we had to take him out to have a chance of promotion, got the point we needed as Morton collapsed.
MTJ
Any David Lilley tackle!

The Peter McDonald on Andy Millen one. I've got it stored on another PC - I'll upload it again later.

Haaland deserved it unsure.gif rolleyes.gif

James Grady smashing Robert Harris in the face.

Dirk Kuyts two footed flying lunge v Everton could have been nasty, fortunately he missed.

Oh, and Ben Thatchers that was in the sequence.

For the rest who aren't aware and might actually believe Roberts wind up. Imrie/McCabe was at the very worst a 50/50 ball, Imrie didn't even go to ground, the result was horrific though.

Did I just read James Grady and smash in the same sentence?

He was given a standing ovation from me as he ran away down the tunnell trying to keep away from Millen!

The keeper kicking the guy in the puss in the second clip had me laughing hysterically! Its funny as f**k!

Most tackles by Graeme Souness. Ask George McLusky.

St Johnstones Pelosi's tackle on Brown at East End Park. wasnt so much as a mis-timed tackle it was down right evil.
FC_1919
Some of the knocks in that first vid were just unlucky hits. Some were horrible tho.

Legend. I believe JP was the first professional footbller to have court action taken against him for a playfull tap in a game.

Saw on WAP a chap recalling an incident when he lamped Davie Provan at Parkhead. I feel a knighthood is in order!

I suppose you have to nominate Schumacher on Battiston - note the award of a goal kick:

But my personal favourite is Massing on Caniggia:

Each Cameroon player gets closer to "doing" him. Poor guy. At least he had the drugs to get him by

Souness put in if I remember a fairly brutal one in Iceland.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Neil Simpson's shocker on Ian Durrant.

I'm pretty sure said tackle was on a Morton player. His name escapes me, but he comes from Cumbernauld.

Worst tackle I ever saw was by Jim Duffy at Brockville, he almost chopped a Falkirk forward in half and rightfully got sent off.

Ill bite.

Tom Parratts was a tackle from behind that deserves a yellow card. It was Imrie rolling like an egg at Easter that got Parratt the red. Funny how jumped up 5 seconds after the red was shown and continued to play the game with no troubles at all. This thread is a bout WORST TACKLES, not players acting like ponces.

Gilhaney was a petulant flick that deserved a yellow. Not exactly Peter Cech fractured skull stuff. Stop being such a big baby.

Brian Easton? Dont know what youre talking about. But Hichcliffe probably deserved if he managed to wind Brian Easton up, not exactly an everyday occurance.

Anyway, worst tackle Ive ever seen was at Stenhousemuir. That a-hole Des McKeown 2-footed, no attempt whatsoever to play the play, flew in knee-height from behind on Michael Martin. You could hear his leg snap from the stand. Think it ended his career. Meanwhle our Desmond gets a cushty number in the media. Thats when I realised that there is no god.

Billy Abercrombie on Gordon Wylde,Thistle v Killie?Rediculous tackle.

Dundee fans will surely remember that bug lump Jason De Vos all but ending Caballero's career at the derby at Dens?? He was never the same player after that - horror tackle.

While Sean was quite clearly fishing, Parrats tackle was absolutely horrendous, I saw the replay not the long ago. If anyone should know that how bad a tackle is doesn't always result in a proportional amount of damage, its Clyde and Hamilton fans.

Gilhaneys was petty, not really meriting a place in the thread.

Don't remeber Eastons either.

It was on the Dunfermline player Jim Brown, Niz.

Would be interesting to see the MacDonald on Millen one again if David can upload it. No idea where it came from either and I don't think he's made a tackle before or since!

I'd always thought it was Graham Roberts that made the tackle but see someone has posted a link to it further down. Bobby Barr's son - also called Bobby - is currently on the books at Saints.
