Distinct lack of rumours this window - what's happening to the boy wonder?

My own take on the matter is that Hamilton should be keen to sell him as his value as a child prodigy will drop with every transfer window whereas being a standout performer at Division 1 level won't put him at much above £100k.
Miles Brookeson
Hamilton are keeping him to ensure promotion.
They will make back potential losses on him by being in the SPL

Interesting theory.

Another theory is that a deal has been done on the QT.

Remember he'll still only be 17 at the end of this season. My guess is he'll be off then, but regardless of the money involved I'd rather he stayed.
Trevor
I too would rather he stayed but I have my suspicions that as Academical suggested a deal has already been done for him to leave at the end of the season.

he was NEVER going to join Queen of the South.
His parents aren't brother and sister and he hates the sound of drumming.

Think you may well find that the deal is done and he will end up in the North East of England with an irish connection....................

Yawn yawn yawn, boring, misinformed, ill thought out, same old idiotic nonsense.
EKACCIES
He is staying at Accies until a club comes in for him at an age where he will go into their 1st team squad , not be dumped in a youth team.

The use of the word us was reffering to Scotland not Queens ya tube. Heard they dont have 6 fingers or play banjos either so there's no chance he'd be able to fit in in Gr£tna!

If hating McCarthy makes me a racist sectarian bigot then so be it. He can go and take a wage out of his own country's economy if he's not prepared to acknowledge he's Scottish.
Trevor
I wouldn't say you are a racist sectarian bigot as such, just a thick, ill educated piece of pond scum. Here to help!

Also - "He can go and take a wage out of his own country's economy" sounds like you'd fit right in with the BNP.

It's his own life isnt it?

You're from East Kilbride.. I'm going to assume you used to live in Greenock or at least had ties there.. What if you decided "f**k it, I'd rather be a St. Mirren fan". Would that be anyone elses business but yours? Wid it fud.

If the boy thinks he's Irish or wants to be Irish then f**k it, leave him to it. I'm not going to say it's not a bit frustrating.. but it's f**k all to do with us.

If he wants to play for Ireland then he wants to play for Ireland.. Get over it!

Although i'm thinking that if this was a Morton player it would be a different story....Wouldnt it?

There is a Scottish born Morton player that's been capped at youth level for Ireland, and yes, I feel exactly the same way about him.

Call in the Mods - We can't have this sort of maturity and tolerance here. I come to P&B for narrow-minded bile and vitriol; you're lowering the tone. Get thee hence and improve your ways.
