There's a two pages in the latest When Saturday Comes (February 2008, the one with the Blackburn Rovers players on the front) of Queen's Park related pictures, if anyone is interested. Dunno if any of the faces in the "crowd" picture are P&B regulars?

The reference to the FIFA order of merit makes me wonder whether the Spiders have ever played Sheffield FC (Oldest club in the world)?

I'll try and pick it up soon. What's the picture inside it like, maybe I would recognise it?

There's seven pictures of the stadium, fans, trophy room etc. The one of the fans celebrating a goal has quite a few faces on it, but not sure if that's anyone from P&B...

Maybe nothing you've never seen before, but always nice to see media coverage of this level of football...

It only came today, rather than Saturday as the name would suggest sad.gif

Always a good read though, puts the past month of football hype into perspective...

It'll be from the Alloa game in December, the photographer was in our dressing room taking pictures while I was setting things out.

Re Sheffield, we used to play them regularly, when I started going in the mid 80's it was usually a pre-season game at Lesser, but we haven't played them for a few years now, the last one was a (midweek) bedlam trip to Sheffield in 1994(ish) when we played them at Hillsborough, if my memory serves me correctly we won 3-0 with a couple of goals from Steve McCormick and one from John O'Neill.

Cheers, that's very interesting. Would be the kind of game I'd be interested to attend, as a neutral, a lot of history there smile.gif

WH Smith in Central Station or Sauchiehall Street usually have it in stock.
