I have for a long time had wireless internet and my xbox live connected through the router. Since getting my xbox back from Microsoft my settings are no longer saved and I had to enter the WEP key. Which I couldn't find. Can anyone advise me of where I get this key code from??

I messed about with my laptop too much and somehow have disconnected my wireless on that too. It is showing my connection as strong but then its not connecting, I think I must have messed up some setting and it aint wanting to go wireless now.Any ideas????

I could phone AOL to sort this out but anybody who has ever phoned their customer service will understand why this would be my last port of call. Its a total cu*t speaking to them.

Please please help its soooooo frustrating

If you got the router from AOL then they will now the WEP key, if it came preinstalled. If it didnt then you, or someone else, must have put it on and therefore should know it.

The easiest option might be to plug your laptop into the router with a network cable (presuming the router has a network connection), go into the setup and disable WEP. You can then either put it back on with a key you choose yourself, or secure the network some other way.
