Who won the last derby game at the old Rugby Park? I know we won the first at the new one.

I'm thinking off the top of my head it was the beggars of Killie that won a Scottish Cup game in about 93 or 94 by a score of 2-1.

I seem to remember George McCluskey winning a penalty for them after being brought down by the weight of his own gut.

Apologies if I'm wrong but thats my guess wink.gif

You probably know more about it than me anyway. They must have won it since we haven't played them in a league match since 1992 or around that time dry.gif

I'm certain that was our last game at the old Rugby Park.

It was during a time that Stainrod-mania was in effect at Ayr coz he had not long taken over as manager and had made a decent start in charge (although it went downhill not long after).

Seem to remember someone doing a roaring trade in selling novelty Fedora hats to the fans which the big twat was keen to wear although my main memory of the day is slamming a newly purchased pie on the floor to join in the celebrations for our goal.

The stupid things that stick in your mind rolleyes.gif

The only good thing about Killie are their pies laugh.gif Was that about the time when Killie were basically a retirement home for Tommy Burns's ex Celtic pals?
