Did your "source" mention if Cooper was going to be in charge from now on?

I certainly hope so. If he can get it turned around, we are still in with a chance of the playoffs. If we get in a totally new management team, they will need 2-3 weeks to find out what they need to sort the team out, and then they have no time to actually get those players.
Ofcourse this is all the fault of the SPL2 shite that went on last season

Funnily enough he was mentioned on the Peterhead website as a manager who could turn us around. He has an excellent track record at this level, and i think far better than some of the criticism he gets. I'd wait until next season however.

The Blue Toon website says Neale Cooper will take charge of all football matters until the end of the season, so no new manager hunt needed this time round

I think it was all due to the fact we wanted (at the time) to take a step forward, and go full time. It was thought that Paterson and Cooper were the way to do it. Whereas that was a shock decision, this wasn't. I blame the SPL2 nonsense for it, if the whole threat of no promotion etc wasn't there, i don't think the board would have "panicked" and i think Stewarty and Mathers would still be in charge. We aren't horrendously worse off than we were back then, but we certainly have paid a lot to stay in the same position.

Quite surprised by this as Peterhead are still in with a shout of 4th.
Still, Cooper is a good manager IMO, and I'm sure he'll do a decent job.

An odd football decision. 2 points of the play offs with the three full time teams, who they have played recently away, top of the league.

He's just that way isn't he. Never seems to move an inch or shout instructions at his teams, which by the way is not a bad thing. Each coach has their own traits. FWIW, i think he's a good manager given the right resources. Unfortunately, Peterhead's talk about increased investment seem to have come to nothing. (It would appear that way anyway.)

As i said, i think that was more to do with the SPL2 carry-on and not wanting to be left out (which would have been a mistake imo).

To be fair, of all the teams that f**k up my coupons, Peterhead have never been one of them. I always back the team playing them and I've never been wrong yet. I'll have to change tack now Sid the Sexist is gone.

You still have Sid the Sexpest at leftback though.
When he was in charge of a game at Stirling last season I was surprised to see him at 2:35 in the car park with a rather attractive young lady whilst Neale Cooper was doing the warm up, Pele then stood like a plank the entire game -
now the Toon have a decent manager in charge and can surely now claim second place.
