My internet is working fine, I have added both LimeWire and UPnP Framework to my firewall exceptions, but it still doesn't seem to find a connection. Any reasons why this may be?

I'd reccomend not using Limewire in the first place mate... Get yourself into the world of Torrents.

Yeah, I know it's not great, and I do use torrents regularly for albums/videos etc, but Limewire is really useful for just grabbing a quick tune now and again.

Have you added rules to all your firewalls?

Many people have multiple firewalls without realising it. E.g. One built in to your router, Windows firewall and if your have an internet security package eg Norton, Mcaffee, Bullguard etc

I changed all the firewall settings that I know of. I just fully re-installed it there, which seems to have done something for the time being anyway. Thanks for the help.

I Just Shut it Down then open it up again if the bars are still red then go to file disconnect then go to file again then connect and leave it for afew minutes.

Stop using Limewire ffs.
