Despite what was said on the radio, it was Chappie that grabbed the first goal after a fine cross from Roberts who finally looked back to his best.

What can you say about Livingston? They were obviously jealous of Dundee's role as our bitches last season and decided they wanted a piece of the action.

The full backs were pushed up ahead of the halfway line, and Mark Tinkler was basically standing at the centre circle most of the game. He's incredibly slow, and made Roberts look like a sprinter

After being played off the park at Firhill earlier in the season I thought there was no way we could be made to look so bad again but hard to believe we were actually worse . Thistle got it spot on - fought for everything, didn't give our players a second and bullied us off the ball all night. Add to that the fact that we had so many players off form and a defence slower than a very slow snail and I'd say we were lucky to keep the score down to 4.

If the Jags play like that every week I'm surprised they are not pushing Hamilton all the way. They looked great tonight.

Best team we've played this season (and in great current form before tonight) horsed by the worst team we've played this season - I'm glad I'm not a betting man.

Livi's stewards are easily the best we've seen so far this season.

There's no accounting for this league. Livvy take 4 off Morton. Morton take 4 off Partick. Partick take 4 off Livvy. It just goes to prove that pretty well any team in this league can beat any other team. It just depends on who plays on the day.

I think only Hamilton and to a lessor extent Dundee and much lessor extent St Johnstone look as though they are a bit better than the rest. The gap in ability between the remainder is wafer thin and even the top three can be beaten by anyone in the league. There are no certainties in the first division other than the fact that the SPL will do their best to ensure that no one gets promotion when it does'nt suit them!!

Couldnt agree more. With the exception of Hamilton and to an extent Dundee (but only to an extent as Clyde proved last sunday) everyone is capable of beating each other in this division. There really are no easy games

It says it all when the sponsors refuse to name a man of the match. We may as well have fielded a under 12's team because we got nothing from our side yesterday.

Defended like schoolboys and expected to be able to play the same system against a relatively pacey side as we did against Albion and Pars. Big mistake.

Partick were easily the better side and were worth thier win.

I didn't notice that, to be honest. We've seen quite a bit of Livi since their inception, probably more than most, and I have to say, that's the worst Lions' side I've ever seen.

i think buchanan is turning into a great signing the energy he had is unreal gives 100% for the whole game!!!! bet u any money some club like motherwell will poach him away next season as i can see him bagging loads of goals this season!!

They'd have to pay a fee. Hopefully we'll be in a position to challenge for the league next season and will be buidling our team around players like Buchs and Chappie.

Did any of u guys hear bout that dougie imrie was meant to be joining us in january market? i was also spkin to a few of the saints fans they have also said hes joining them!!! if am being honest i think hes a great playing but would hate him in a jags top hes just a wee cocky git!!!

i've never been so embarrassed at watching a Livi side. Including Motherwell's 5-0 drubbing of us. Our defense thought they were midfielders half the time and our best centre half was Liberda(i think he was the only livi player to take a ball past a partick player). Thistle thouroughly deserved the win...they got their tactics spot on and exploited our hapless defense with pace and clinical finishing.


on another note the attendance was on of the higher for the season....until half the livi support scarpered with 20 mins still to go.

Im a livi fan and I have to say I think the scoreline was unfair....................You should have won by a lot more than 4!!! We were shocking, Tinkler is a pitiful excuse of a player! I thought that going forward you lot were superb, very pacey and looked dangerous. You will be lucky to hold onto Buchanan, very good player and a handful for any defence!

I think the drummers are one of the more positive aspects of Livingston Football Club. On last nights showing the quality of football is dire and with the low attendances it helps to create some atmosphere.
