What game was he reffing at the weekend after that display at the Falkirk -v- Hibs game?

Dundee -vs- St Johnstone.

He wasn't short of controversy in this game after - he sent Dundee's Derek Lyle off after 6 minutes after his linesman's recommendation and he went through three different players before he could find him.
Peterhead Dave
And the week before Hibs-Falkirk he did our game - sending off one Stranraer player from the pitch, one from the bench (he'd been substituted but had been booked while on the park and was given a second booking for dissent!) and sending their assistant Derek Ferguson to the stand.

Legend has it that in true Ferguson style, Deek called Mr Freeland a "fud", though I didn't hear it myself laugh.gif

So how many sendings off is that in the space of three weeks?

Dunno, I'm not sure how many he sent off in the Hibs -v- Falkirk game!

This season he has officiated in 8 games, booking 28 sending off 8. Robert Walker in Ayr vs Peterhead, Mark Ferry and Richard Sinclair in Elgin vs Queen's. Brown, Thomson, Craig and O'Donnell all saw red in the Hibs vs Falkirk match while Lyle was sent off at Dundee last week.
Steve McQueen
There was a review of him in the Dundee programme.

This season:
Games :6
Yellows: 17
Reds: 3 (excluding the 2 sent off outwitch the pitch.

3 booked & 1 sent off on Sat.

He's got Huntly v Deveronvale tomorrow (so says the SFA website), so see how he does then. Maybe he's found his level.

No club deserves to have him in charge, should just quit now.

And that doesnt include the two red cards off the pitch and also the two yellows that lead to a sending off. The guy is a shocking ref and shouldnt be allowed near anywhere near a SPL or 1st division match.

Chat about our ex-chairmans son Colin Brown?

5 games, 25 bookings, 6 sendings off.

Just as well we can't get him. laugh.gif

Apparently Freeland was in charge of Brechin v Ipswich last night and denied Ipswich a blatant pen for handball.

Well that'll be at least ten then as you've missed Stevie Aitken and Derek Ferguson, both of whom were red-carded from our bench at Peterhead! (As well as Robert Walker, who plays for us, not Ayr)

Ten in eight games is some achievement!

NO, he started out in the Highland League, and he was shite then too. His level is sitting at home watching on the TV. laugh.gif
