From tommorows Daily Record........

'Raith Rovers are set to splash out yet again after getting their man in Lee Wilkie (as reported in yesterdays Record). Raith are reported to be in talks with the agent of Alan Thomson of Celtic regarding a transfer window move in January. Craig Levein himself has told Sports Record that he sees a major problem in the balance of the squad, most prominently on the left side of midfield. Rumours are abound about a private backer paying the wages of the new faces, and if successful, Levein would have pulled off one of the most eye opening signings of the last decade for the provincial Kirkcaldy club.'

Aye right guys, just kidding. Just wanted to highlight the fact that the Record is nothing but a bullshit rag, and for you guys to have patience and see if things really happen before ripping in about each other about funding etc. Typical of the Record though, as it is not Wilkie we have most likely signed, it is Marvin Andrews. Sorry Reverend Andrews.

Lets just wait and see though people. Hope the rumours are right though, just don't go expecting Alan Thomson to be signing ph34r.gif .

In other news, the daily Retard can report that another ex Rover will be joining the club in the form of Jim Baxter. Craig Levein has been in talks with the deceased internationalist through a local medium and is expected to sign after a routine medical and exhumation although Raith physio - the high voodoo priest Wica-Wica is quoted as "ooga chaka ooga chaka". Other Raith officials anticipated no problems with the signing....
