I don't use IE that often but recently whatever site I try to surf to I'm getting this error:

Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control list.

Any ideas ? What's the access control list and where is it set ? Firefox works fine.

Is it a message from IE, or from your Firewall? IE could have been blocked form accessing the internet through that.

The message appeared from IE but it's OK now I've fecked about with the connectivity settings and got it working
