We've teamed up with Borders Books again to give each of our visitors a chance to win a copy of the new Scottish football book, " Tartan Turmoil" written by former Dundee Utd star Kevin Gallagher.

The book is a forthright and honest look at why the late 80's and early 90's were so successful for Scottish Football and why the last ten years or so have seen a steady decline in our fortunes.

Starting with the World Cup Finals of 1998 and ending with Scotland’s chances in Euro 2008 Kevin has given his and the top Scottish Managers and Players views on changes needed to get Scotland back up the FIFA rankings.

From Alex Ferguson to Walter Smith the book looks at how changes in environment and children’s attitude to sport is damaging the game. In an autobiographical look he draws on his own experiences from a young boy starting in the beautiful game to becoming a top International star.

Kevin will be on site at Borders in Buchanan Street, Glasgow on Thursday October 12th at 6pm to sign copies of his new book.

We have 5 copies to give away in our free and easy to enter competition. Check the homepge for details of how to enter !
