for a minimum of 6 weeks, with a medial ligament injury, and will miss the France game. I think this will be quite a big blow sad.gif

Graham Alexander looks like the obivous replacement.

Naysmith, Faddy, Miller all out now....getting a bit worried here!

Ahem

Rumour has it that Faddy might be fit for the France game
Larbert_Par
Alexander at left back, and if McNamara doesn't make it,who goes to right back? Dailly? Murty? unsure.gif

As much as I like big Christian,I think his lack of pace at full back could be rather costly against the French if he is picked to play there.
xbasslichtie_old
I see McNaughton is in the squad! Lets give him a chance at fullback!
StewartyMac
Stevie Smith would have been a much better shout than Alexander who, after Murty, is the 2nd worst player I've ever seen in a Scotland jersey.
CC 33
I honestly can't believe that Alexander gets anywhere near the squad. Stevie Smith should be in there instead.

For me I'd play McNaughton because he's got a bit of pace.

We may be faced with the age old problem of playing players who arent playing for their clubs.Weir for example has played twice as a late sub this season.I havent seen Murty for Scotland but the lads the Reading captain so he must be a bit of a player. He is injured though as far as I know.

McNaughton isnt playing regularly for Cardiff either though who are on fire right now incidently.

McNaughton has started every game for Cardiff, and has arguably been their best player this season.

McFadden WILL be fit for the France game, so too will big Davie Weir. Both pllayed tonight for everton reserves and according to this, McFadden looked sharp and very agressive. biggrin.gif More please from that man on Saturday! beerchug.gif
