Can you tell me who Cramb made his Falkirk debut against? I think it may have been v Aberdeen at Brockville, and if so I was there.

If it wasn't that game, can you tell me of any appearances he may have made at Brockville against the Dons?

Cheers!

Colin Cramb made his debut for Falkirk as a substitute in their 2-1 Coca Cola Cup win at Ibrox against Rangers on 31/8/94. They were put out by Aberdeen at Brockville 4-1 in the next round but Cramb wasn't in the squad.

His league debut came at Rugby Park against Killie, again as a sub, in a 1-1 draw on 10/9/94.

Cramb did however play from the start and score against Aberdeen in a 2-1 win at Brockville on 5/11/94. That was his only Falkirk goal. In total, he made 6 league starts and 2 sub apps, scoring that one goal. His only cup app was that game against Rangers.

Sounds like that must be the one then. I remember Duncan Shearer and John Inglis being on the bench for the sheep.

Hmmm, this is connected to Colin Cramb's Falkirk career. Could you please tell me the details of Jamie Paterson's career at Brockville and what he has done since. Falkirk fans will know why Paterson and Cramb are connected. rolleyes.gif

Another thing, was he shorter than Bobby McCulley?

Cheers. smile.gif

I actually saw Jamie Paterson in a game way back on 24/8/93 playing for Halifax Town against Southport - what struck me was how short he was!

He began his career with Halifax as a YTS then after a few years with them signed for Falkirk, and made 1 league start and 3 sub apps. He then joined Sc**thorpe United in October 95 before re-signing for Halifax in the summer of 1997. He then joined Doncaster in 2000, and played with them in the Football League during 2003-04. He moved on to Barrow from Doncaster, then on to Kettering Town. He quit them after a year in November 2005.

Standing 5-05, the Dumfries-born midfielder is definitely taller than Bobby McCulley who seemed to shrink over time. He was regarded as 5-04 from 1971 to 1986 but after a spell in the Juniors he stepped up to East Stirling and supposedly had shrunk to 5-03.
