Really looking forward to todays game, should be one with plenty of goals.
Now being the biggest team in this league we should brush farming towns like Brechin aside with absolutely no problems. With our towering defence, slick midfield and continental European striker we'll run riot against a team of part time misfits.
My prediction for today.....................
Brechin 2-0 Ayr United, being realistic.

I fancy us to win today but Ayr's away record is nothing short of outstanding.
Hopefully our strikers will convert the barrowload of chances we've been creating in recent games. This is one of the games we must win if we are to stay in the play-off's, or even challenge for the title, come the end of the season.

If we play well we'll win, no doubt.
We are capable on the road when we decide to play.
The problem we have is simply down to poor management.
Brechin have had a decent start and will put up a fight, so bring it on!
AYR, AYR, SUPER AYR!

We were terrible. Hardly looked like scoring. Ayr could have had double figures.

Heard we ran the show today in the second half and Caddis could have had a hat-trick.
As Mr Wilson pointed out on the local radio station, it's a pity we have to play at home next week.

no problem
The 2nd half was probably one of our best performances in the last 2 or 3 seasons, we could/should have scored 3 or 4 more. As mentioned above Ryan Caddis should have had a hat trick with a little more composure. The Brechin left back will be having nightmares about him tonight! Paul Weaver was outstanding again his passing was a joy to watch. Mark Cassey did all the hard graft in midfield allowing all the others to play.
It's just a shame that we are at home next week!

Once again, we missed an absolute barrowload of chances but Ayr deserved their win and had quite a number of chances themselves, including missing an open goal! I was really impressed with some of Ayr's play in the second half but the referee was an absolute joke.
We really need to be more consistent.

i think that ryan caddis is one of ayr's top players this season. I think that he was outstanding today. Rab reilly should give him a break, he hasnt forgave him for the missed penalties against dunfermline. For a boy to come from junior football, and tear a former spl defender (scott walker) to pieces is a feet of its own. well done caddis! keep goin the way u are just score goals.!

Scott Walker (out left back) was absolute bollocks. Worst performance I've seen him have in a City shirt.

We won, we were better than Brechin, the type of result we should be getting against small teams like this.
Brechin isn't a bad wee place and thumbs up to whoever made the soup, absolutely brilliant.

Yes, a great performance.
Interesting that someone is blaming the ref. He had nothing to do, there wasn't a bad tackle in the entire game, possibly because your defence couldn't get near our front 6.
Paul Weaver is the best midfielder in this division, and he keeps improving.
Ryan Caddis was AT LAST played in the correct position and continually ripped the pish out of Walker.
That was a good performance.
To the Brechin fans who were telling us to "f**k off" : If singing songs and getting behind our team bothers you that much, try introducing a wee thing called
segregationLook it up

So you never have segregation for Division 2 games then I take it. Surely you mean when big away supports visit? So if you were to face say Motherwell in the Scottish Cup and they brought 150 fans you'd have segregation as they are one of the bigger clubs in Scotland I suppose!?
There were so many poeple at Glebe Park wearing Old Firm tops yesterday. A guy walked by me wearing the Celtic home top and I asked him if that was the Brechin away top. He replied "aw 2-0 2-0" Then I pointed at the pitch and said, "no it still 0-0" He then said "2-0 to Celtic" I said "who?" He said "2-0 to Celtic" I just said who again!! He wasn't to amussed and walked away!

To be joint third and not have won a home game is a crazy stat. If we could just get our home form together we could hopefully go on a run that would have the Morton fans slightly worried. Our form against them is well documented........
Onwards and upwards I hope, but its Ayr we're talking about, and the proverbial brown stuff could again hit the fan come 4.45 next Saturday.
