Full Version: Lossiemouth V Forres Mechanics

This weekends BIG game is the Moray derby between The Mighty Red, Lossiemouth FC, and their near neighbours Forres Mechanics, resplendant in their brown and yellow outfits. Hilarity ensued last weekend in their game against Rothes when Forres fielded as a trialist Gary Tweedie, a player currently signed to Lossiemouth. Even funnier, Forres won the game, but are likely to be stripped of the points and fined. With an entire squad of players at Forres having previously played for Lossie and at least one ex-Can Can at Lossie who saw the light and headed east, things are bound to be firey. Full match report and photo spread will be online over the weekend.

Looking forward to reading how this game pans out, probably one of the most interesting ties I have heard about in the last couple of seasons for a neutral like myself.

After all the hype we had better win this one. I damn near forgot about Elg*n City for a couple of minutes...

Forres ran out narrow 2-1 winners against a solid Lossie in an entertaining game. Click here for the match report and photos.

It's a story that never fails to cheer me up - even more so when Forres get done by the HFL for their crime. laugh.gif
